Folks,This is how you get back at those scammers:Call their toll-free number (1-866... or 1-888... or 1-800...) from a PUBLIC PHONE booth.Why? Because everytime they take such a call, they have to pay at least $0.50 to the phone company of the public phone booth!Please do the same, because this is what you get out of it: they pay you to hear your complaints! The more you call, the more they have to pay!     The number they gave me was 1-888-336-3169 - and I called this number today at least 20-30 times... That costs them at least $10 to $15 - and probably much more, because the $0.50 that these scammers have to pay for each call is the minimum amount. It can be as high as $0.75 per call.

I called and left a message inquiring about the mortgage rate and heard back from Money Warehouse within a few days.  I expressed concern about the unsolicited text message and asked to speak with someone who has the authority to discuss the company's marketing strategy and explore the idea of reimbursing all those who received text messages without their consent.  If you would like to call as well, the local phone number is 215-357-6267.  The address listed on the Money Warehouse site is 615 2nd Street Pike / Southampton, PA 18966.

I got a text today stating that I was approved! 4.89% APR FHA Fixed Rate Mortgage!  3.25 APR Equity Line!  Call All State Mortgage NOW: 1-888-532-0177 Aproval code 48787.  When I called the number ready to yell at someone for texting me I became more enraged and have been leaving numerous nasty messages all day.  I'm happy to see I wasn't the only person with this idea.  I encourage everyone and anyone to do the same . . . maybe give the number out to fellow pranksters!  We need to show companies like this that sending text messages is not cost effective in the long run.  Perhaps they should practice supporting the economy by placing ads in the newspaper.  If they really are a mortgage lender I'm sure there is plenty of bail out money available to cover the cost of advertising.

i called them back at their message number 1-888-532-0177 and told them various insanely filthy things.The kind of comments that would make a normal person sick to their stomachs.I then spent the rest of the morning calling them randomly and leaving various similar messages that I know someone will have to listen to to get to any real leads they might have.It's my way letting any employees ****** enough to work there just how I appreciate their spam, over and over a***n.

I got the exact same text message at 7:49 PM on 2/18/09. It's bad enough I get that bs in the mail, now they're gathering phone numbers and spamming phones? What if I didn't have unlimited texts?
