I'm having the same problem.  I can only understand a few words.  So****ing about a complaint a***nst my numer and the government.  I'm supposed to call back to resolve the matter because he doesn't know what will happen otherwise.  I ordered from an online pharmacy and wondered if he got my number that way.  I have no unpaid bills and haven't done anything illegal.  It sounds like some type of scam.  I'm not going to answer future calls and hope to find a way to block this number.

I also just got this call from the same number as everyone else. Indian speaking man, who said his name was Shawn so****ing from a company I couldn't understand. Said there was a lawsuit for Criminal Activity and said so****ing about my social security number. I know that I have paid all pay advance loans or am paying on them and am current. If they have so****ing legal wouldn't you think they would mail it with a signature confirmation? A phone call can't obviously be "legal". And if they have my phone number they should have the address to my home too, right? So send me papers. Try me, I don't owe on anything else!

That is the same thing with me.  The first time I got a call, I was scared.  But I talked to my sister and she told me it was a scam.  When he called back, I told them I talked to a lawyer (my sister who is not a lawyer) and wanted proof. He wouldn't send me anything and when I asked who the company was he talked very fast and ***g up. The next day that number called me 18 times in 7 minutes. Now when I get these calls, I don't answer. write down the number and as much information I can find, including the name they give me and send it to my attorney general for the state of Iowa and let him handle it.

I have received several calls from 412 area code.  Now they are telling me they are from American Legal.  Thick Indian accent with an american name.  Not right...

I received a call on 11/29/2010 stating I owe $500 for a payday loan and that they were going to file a civil suit a***nst me. I asked for proof but I could only get the proof if I paid the $500. I have contacte the BBB and AG of PA for help with this issue.

Someone with a heavy foreign accent saying so****ing about  a store taking legal action.  Very hard to understand due to the accent and a lot of chatter in the background (boiler room?).

At least some of you could understand them! I get 2 or 3 voicemails a day from this clown and I cannot understand him. Sounds like a Indian or some thing.

Just got a threatening call from this number. But the name and address they left on the voicemail weren't mine, so I'm thankful for that. Heavy accent, said he was from American Legal Services (and Dividends? Evidence?) He said my SS number (or the number of the person he named) was blocked by the federal government and they were going to make an arrest for fraud and criminal activity. I'm supposed to call to take care of the issue because he said, "Don't try to disregard this message," and he doesn't want "A genuine person like you to face legal consequences." The American Legal Services website says it's an offs**** scam where they threaten people to send money or they'll be arrested.

I've recieved several calls always different numbers, but same thing. I owe a payday loan company online, never made one. I ask for papers to prove it and the won't send them. They say they are issuing an arrest for fraud. I let them know I contacted the Attorney general, BBB and the sherriffs department but that doesnt seem to affet them besides **** them off more! And then the say things like do you have kids and I guess your kids will go up without a parent. Someone needs to stop them.. yeah they literally just called me 4 times in the span of 3 minutes. I didnt answer, now i look up the number and see its happening to everyone.

Got the same thing. This idiot told me that I was going to jail too.  God I wish someone would put them in jail!!!

i recieved several calls form this # from a foriegn guy saying he is calling from a law office. threating to send papers to my home & job about fraud from a cash advance made online.

To anyone who receives these phone calls...... It's an absolute joke! They threaten you with all kinds of stuff if you don't send them money. It's a scam! Do not give them none of your information.... let alone your banking information. They will clean you out! Please let anyone you know about these people!
