This is indeed a "Blues on Call" number for BlueCross BlueShield, and is usually a health care nurse calling to see how the member is doing and to offer source information for any questions the member might have.

This is not a scam. It's a nurse on call company that Highmark has hired to provide health related services to their BlueCross BlueShield Health Plan "Blues on Call" members. This is also why they would have your home number as BCBS would have provided it.

I have Highmark Blue Shield for healthcare.  This operation is affiliated. The Do Not Call does not apply to someone you do biz with.
