Leave a CommentI got a call from this number, called the number provided here. number goes back to earthlink. they took my name and number and said they are looking into it.
Another scam call. I did not answer and just s****ed to check online if anyone else was receiving calls from this number.
Complete spam; call to lower credit card rates but no one answers when you press 1 to swear at them. Cannot call number back.
THE BAD NEWS: Card Services calls aren't going to stop anytime soon. THE GOOD NEWS: You can retaliate, reduce the misery, and even have some fun. RETALIATE: Waste these turkeys' time. Keep them on the line by acting like an interested prospect. Give them bogus data, including a combination of two different credit card numbers, scrambled Social Security digits, and a modified ZIP Code. Important: provide a credit card company's real 800 number. After they call the credit card company, you can give them the same credit card info as before with two of the numbers transposed, thus causing them to make a second verification call. Or you can respond, "Guess what ... H-O-O-N-N-K-K [from a $6 air horn] you've been PRANKED! Call back tomorrow for more bull****." Now they're the **** of your joke. REDUCE THE MISERY: Landlines. Enroll for the free service at nomorobo.com. Simultaneous ringing, a free feature many providers offer, enables nomorobo to receive, answer and, after one ring, automatically **** up on nuisance telephone numbers. Cell phones. Block the number, an option that becomes available on the iPhone if you click on the "i" on the right in the list of recent calls and scroll to the bottom. Unfortunately, Card Services will keep calling from new s****ed numbers, which eventually should motivate you to retaliate. HAVE FUN: Turning the tables on the perpetrators with mischievous deception and the news they've been duped provides instantaneous vigilante satisfaction. Plus you serve your fellow call recipients by slowing down this evil operation's efforts to defraud them.
I asked politely to be reemoved from their list and the woman ***g up on me. I contacted the FCC: https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx It's a good idea to report these annoying companies. It is a VERY easy form to fill out online.
Credit card debt consolidation ****s that do not respect the Do Not Call list. I wish them the fleas of one thousand camels.
These people who say they are Carm Member Services are crooks running scam. There are many such people running this scam so don't believe this is just one company or that putting your name on a do not call list will have any effect on them. The object of the scam is to get your name and credit card number which they will then happily use leaving you will a bill. The last thing you should do is interact with these people. Simply do not answer these calls. What I do is keep a list of such names in my dumb phone memory under IGNORE** so I know not to answer if they call back. I hear there are apps for smart phones which prevent the phone from even ringing when an ignored number calls.

Total SCAM, unable to talk to a live person as the call ends when I try to.
Credit Card Scammers, offer gift cards for lots money but you have to give them your credit card #. Alot of good it does to be on the GOV do not Call list for cells and home phone.
Believe this to be another spam call and report it as such now. My personal, policy is to not answer any call that has a number I do not recognize immediately.
I have been getting a call from this number 1 to 2 times a day for the pass week, when someone answers the phone I tell them I want to be removed and they **** up on me
I just called 781-466-8080 as I'd seen on other posts and spoke to a very helpful woman who said she would also report this to her company. She told me I am the 7th person this week calling about the exact same thing. I get the feeling the more people call the more seriously they'll take this??? One way or another she was very kind and sympathetic, hopefully this will help...
I pushed 1 to be transferred to someone and all I said was, "Could you remove my number from your list?" And their response was, "Could you ***k off" and then ***g up. Clearly a scammer!!!
Now if I only had a credit card..
Continue to call even after I followed their automated prompt to 'not take advantage' of their offer

Just called the 781-466-8080 and talked to Adam and he said he would take care of it. Someone may call me to confirm or give me a confirmation #. Nice guy!
They need to be prosecuted. They continuously violate the do not call.gov. Jail!

Got a spam call too. I called 781-466-8080 as Thomas suggested and I was ready to be rude. The man who answered was very nice apologizing my number got on an automated list and he was going to send a ticket in to his corporate office at Earthlink in MA. We'll see...
