Just got a text saying that so****ing just went down and it was about me. It came from an area code where I used to live/work so I thought it was legit initially. Good thing I searched for this before I called it back. Not interested in a scam today. Sites like this are priceless.

Just got the same text message...Coincidentally, I have a friend with the name given and almost woke her up in the middle of the night! What a waste of my time and text minutes, but thank for posting so others know it's all BS.

Got a text message from a friend's phone that says, "I need to talk to you about some stuff that just went down and its about you. My phone is going dead so call me at 413 497 0025" The cir***stance, message and suggestion was dubious so I checked it out on the internet, found out this is a scam and there might be a charge if I call the number. Who collects the charges? Can't anybody trace this and catch these guys?

I ALSO RECEIVED A SIMILAR MESSAGE FROM 702-807-2690, I KNEW IT WASN'T FOR ME AS THE MESSAGE S****S "HEY MAN," THEN CONTINUES "I NEED TO TALK TO YOU ABOUT SOME STUFF THAT HAS TO DO WITH YOU, BUT MY BATTERY IS GOING DEAD. CALL ME AT 413-497-0025 ASAP

My so called friend sent the msg and phone number to my email. So I thought I would google it first.Thanks for letting me know its a waste of time.

I got a text from this number at 4:41 in the morning this is annoying.

actually a text message that was supposibly from one of my "friends" must have hacked her phone. Text states "i need to talk to you about some stuff that just went down today and its about u. So I called bcuz this is really strange of "my friend" to say this and it said "Psychiatric Hotline." and I ***g up....googled and seen that others have had this same exact msg!! Kind of freaky really.

A friend has pre-pay, called it, never got charged.. so eithere your wife was mistaken, or this number doesn't charge pre-pay.

A friend of my husband gave us this number and my husband called it. He then had me call it (didn't tell me who I was calling) and it was pretty funny. "Psychiatric Hotline - if you have multiple disorder, press 1,2, and 3; if you are obsessive compulsive keep pressing one - etc". I told my husband it was cute but wait til the phone bill comes!

My wife called it before she told me about it and I said ya better check the phone bill.  Low and behold there was a 49.00 dollar charge.  Beware.
