The text said I bought a whirlpool microwave on my credit card and if I didn’t call them. I checked the phone number realized it’s a scam deleted and reported it.

As per above, they texted there was a $500 charge to my Visa and call them to confirm order

Received a text. My card was charged $538 for Whirlpool microwave oven. My credit card companies have not notified me of this so I know it is a scam to get my information. I will not text them back nor call them.

Text looked like a receipt notification from a retail store for a purchase. Implied that I had purchased a microwave for $567.25. Included the ***nd, model number and order ID number. Also said "NOT placed by you? Reach us: 14136282891

This is a spam phone number. Received a text saying I bought a chrome book and I was going to be charged roughly $950. Called the number and they said I had been hacked and then asked me for my personal info. I denied their request amd they ***g up!!
