I too received the call asking for donation.

At 6:54pm 10-4-2010, I received a cold call from this number soliciting money, even though I am on the do not call list. The caller did not know my name or address. I would like to know where he got my phone number. His organization has allowed slum landlords to roof flood apartment tenants out of their rooms, have leaky ***** plumbing into tenants rooms, have huge uncollected garbage dumpsters making a health mess at slum landlord's apartment building alleys, etc. The landlords are related to Thomas B Powers, ******ia B Pierce LLC, Peter Moede, Atlas Tannery Maintenance, etc, in Milwaukee.The organization members are probably named Jennifer Monte and Mario Hernandez of the City of Milwaukee. His organization has sent criminals to occupy some of the slum landlord's buildings, thereby providing income to the landlords, but high risk to the older tenants, forcing many older tenants to leave their homes.

the first call was a girl stating i had made a plege and have not paid- i informed her she had the wrong person and she ***g-upi have been getting calls from 414-208-4435 every sunday now but they just ****-upi don't have caller id but did a *69 to verify the number

They are a telemarketing group who is working for a union of the Milwaukee Police****ociation to get 'donation's.  However, they are NOT allowed to call anyone on the DNC list as they are NOT an actual NON profit (as some of their UN-informed employees try claiming - then I tell them, I'll be filing a complaint a***n today, want to give me your name? AND it's a***nst the law to give out a FAKE name as well, just so you are aware - phone logs WILL be pulled when the FTC begins a complete investigation into the illegal activities of the company) I called a number that is given out when using the call back number shown on my CID unit, and you are directed to a 'customer care 800 378 0353' number that tells you HOW to get off their call list if you do not wish to be contacted by them anymore.  HOWEVER.. a local news company found out they may remove you BUT sell off your number to another company - so they still find a way to get money off you.  Also, most people are NOT aware that when you donate money to these orgs when they call, they KEEP the money, so always ask for the address of the ACTUAL group they are raising for.  They will fight you on this, so be prepared to keep asking for it.  I've received stories of 'we are not allowed to give that information out' to 'we are the only ones that can accept money for them' which is ALL false.  To be fair, the employees have to get you to give them the 'donation' at all costs, including lying because the company encourages it by giving them a ratio to follow for more $$ to them.  A***n, be aware, most charities who need the money and do not have the manpower to make these calls have begin farming out the contacts to these TM groups and all they see are at most .10 on the dollar.  It's fact.  Google them.
