I sent the following to the Wisconsin Better Business Bureau: At 9:17am today (6-28-2010) I received a phone call from the following number: (414) 375-4302 It rang several times before I was able to pick up. When I picked up, no one spoke. I returned a call to this number and the man who answered said, BCR may I help you? I asked what BCR stood for and was told "Bureau of Collection Recovery." I explained what just happened and he said that they have an automated system placing those calls. I told him it wasn't functioning properly and he was unconcerned. I Googled the number and found that there are numerous, identical complaints on this phone number all over the web. My number is on all no call lists. There is nothing wrong with my credit and I owe no one who would be attempting to collect. I suspect this is a scam. If it is a "legitimate" business, I am writing to complain of being called. An acceptable resolution would be a promise of no more calls to my number.

These people call me multiple times a day telling me I need to pay for my credit card debts. I called all my credit card company and not one seems to find that I have a balance owed to them.

They've been calling for over 6 months asking for Robert(not my name). They refuse to acknowledge they have the wrong number. I have requested identification and a contact address but they ***g up on me.
