Got this call this morning by voice mail. Message said they were IRS and we needed to call them asap about back taxes. I knew this was a scam and deleted the message. The IRS would never call. They would send a letter. Beware people.

Kevin Rone from IRS. Sounded like bad computer generated voice.
JUST got a call from this number with the caller ID stating simply Novato CA. Like others, the guy claimed to be with the IRS & that he needed my attorney's name & phone number. I replied, "Uh no, this is NOT how the IRS would handle this, this is a prank call". He said "All right" and I ***g up.
Got a call from this number, the guy left a message saying he was from the IRS. He said that they need me or my attorney of record to contact David Jackson of the IRS in Portland and "don't try to disregard this message I called back and a women answered "Hello". Really the IRS doesn't answer "Hello". I told her I was returning a call and needed to get information regarding the message left on my voice mail. She then ***g up the phone. I called back and someone answered she said she was Senior Investigator for the IRS, Michelle Brown. I told her I got a call from this number. She asked what my phone number was and I gave it to her. She then proceeded to say the call was regarding the IRS Debt I had. I told her I didn't know what she was talking about, her response was "So you're not aware that you owe the IRS for back taxes? I said I don't know what you're talking about. She said, "OK, I'll make a note of that, Thank you" By this time I got very su****ious and called back. There was No answer. I called a***n and now James Anderson answered I told him I had just called and gave him the phone number they had in file. He told me his notes said I had just resolved the issue with Michelle Brown. I told him I didn't know what this is about. He said it was about the bad taxes I owed and that a warrant for my arrest was issued for the next 2-3 hours. I told him that was impossible because I didn't owe any taxes and the I felt this was a scam. I also asked what he wanted from me and his response was that he just wanted to be my friend. Really! This people sound from India or another third world country trying to intimidate and take peoples money. I ***g up and looked up the number they called from to find a lot of scam reports mostly from today. Please don't call them back, I'm pretty sure they just want money.
My caller was named John Davis the second time and V. Jackson the first time. Davis said that I had violated several IRS codes and statues and by stealing funds from the IRS I was in danger of arrest and having my house repossessed all my possessions taken for five years until the debt was settled. I could listen any longer it was too funny. When I threatened to have him arrested he ***g up.
A man with a strange accent left a voice mail saying he's from IRS and telling me to call back immediately. After Googling the phone number, I ended up at this page.
Indian man by the name of Chris Brown calling from the IRS, internal revenue service department. telling me or my attorney of record to call him back immediately. When I looked up the number it does not come up as the IRS, but as YMAX communications, I believe this to be BS.
Indian speaking spammer claiming to be with the IRS obviously fraudulent, obviously they think they are above prosecution.
