I work with a financial ins***ution and received a call from this number through out 800 number. When I answered, the caller identified herself as Penny with NHI. When asked to identify what NHI stood for, she got offensive and said "It's just NHI!" I agreed to complete her request to search our registry for several SSNs and after I ran 7 through the system, I found only one match with an existing account. When I told Penny that we did have a valid account under one of the socials, she then asked "What is the routing number for automated processing?"Why would she want this information? Duh! It's a scam and I specialize with fraud. Do not provide information to any caller calling from the number: 415-294-8201.I informed the third party that, if she needed that information, she could get it from the client directly and I would be unable to****ist her. After she ***g up, I quickly called the number back and got a fast paced busy signal like the number is out of service. Please be careful when getting calls from people who will not validate themselves completely!

The telephone number 415-294-8201 appeared as the home account telephone number on my old RCN Dial Up Internet account from 1999. However, this is NOT our phone number! And we haven't used dial-up for at least 8 years. Also, we have Comcast Broadband, not RCN!!  We called several times to complain to RCN that we were being billed on our American Express Card for internet service that we don't use. RCN support could never find our account and we were told they could not help us. This morning we were told that our last name was misspelled as HANN. So that may help for anybody else who is looking for an iden***y to place with 415-294-8201. RCN refused to tell me the address****ociated with that name and phone number - the people getting free dial-up at our expense...  and, oh yes... We had to call American Express to resolve the issue.

415-294-8201 is an unwanted number from a collection agency. Block it.
