This is a scam call. You should report the number to your state attorney general for investigation. The IRS never calls you.

I received a call saying they were the IRS, It was a recording but they left a number to call back, so I did. It sounded like someone from India on a construction site. I am a retired police officer so I gave them a ear full.

They left message with a professional computer voice saying this was my final notice that the IRS was filing lawsuit a***nst me and to call back at "internal IRS number immediately". Yeah RIGHT! They didn't actually use my name which the IRS would and they never said it was the United States IRS or dept of the Treasury.SCAM

They called saying from IRS. when I called back it was very noisy and they asked for my personnel information. Before I gave it I asked why is to so loud there? They just kept asking for my information in a pushy manner now. So I asked how do I know you are real? They said don't worry about and then ***g up. Definitely someone trying to scam people. .
