I got a call from this number today from a guy claiming to be from a charity. So****ing like Policeman Kid's Charity. Sounded like he was reading from a script, then asked if he could count on me to donate. I said I don't give my CC numbers out over the phone, so they'd have to send me snail mail. He pretended like he was looking for my address, then the call cut out. SCAM!
some bubba called would not say anything and then ***g up. this is a scam
yes asking for money - have no idea how they got my full name and cell phone number - when trying to call them from a different phone - it says to call back from the original number that I was called on -then the call was dumped/dial tone.
They called me by First and last name asked me to donate to some Police athletic league.
Called with San Francisco/North Bay Area caller ID - didn't leave a message.
SPAM! And they don't stop calling when asked!!
