Just got call on my cell phone from this number. I didn't hear the phone ring, but they left a voicemail saying it was "Officer Julie Smith with the IRS" and leaving this number in California to call back. It was clearly a recorded voicemail. Since I know we don't owe any back taxes, it appears this is one of those IRS scams. The IRS would not be contacting us on our cell phone, they'd have written a letter. Even if they DID contact us by phone, they'd have left a toll-free number to call back. This is a scam.
