Claimed that my relative had been in a terrible accident, asked if I wanted to speak with them. The number was unaware that that very same relative was in the house with me at the time in another state.

Wanting to buy my product from Craigslist

Wanted to purchase a $2500 furniture item on Craigslist without seeing the item and wanted our pay pal account. Sounded su****ious so I did some research and this person or number seems to have been active with others about the same tone as they s****ed interacting with me.

Same scam on a Craigslist ad as reported by others.

Phishing attempt to purchase a high value item from me through Craigslist ad. Attempted to pay me through PayPal, 1 day after I had another scam with a different "person" and hassle with PayPal. Both of these appear to come from overseas although using US phone #'s to fraudulently get money from you to complete a deal.
