Wow I got a call from this number 415-691-4608 and they say nothing at all and when I tried calling the number back it rings a couple times and then goes to a busy signal. The should get a life or a new job.

They called at 8pm thursday 0ct 29 09.  Left NO message. When I called back it was a mortage company of some kind. I ***g up.

This is a Marketing company called Turn Key Solutions and they do not leave messages, they have been calling my office number after hours. They also called from 707-238-5446

From the comments, it seems that the phone number belongs to some telemarketers. Telemarketing cold-calls to cell phones (without a prior consent or prior business relationship) are forbidden by law (FTC regulation). Even if the telemarketing company is offs**** (e.g. in India), the U.S. client company can still be fined. See the FTC website: http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/consumer/alerts/alt107.shtm which states: 32. Are telemarketing calls from overseas covered? Yes. Any telemarketers calling U.S. consumers are covered, regardless of where they are calling from. If a company within the U.S. solicits sales through an overseas professional telemarketer, that U.S. company may be liable for any violations by the telemarketer. The FTC can initiate enforcement actions a***nst such companies. You should tell the telemarketer (if you can actually speak to someone) to take you off their call list, and if they do not comply you will report them to the FTC (at www.donotcall.gov), AND that you will also complain to their client company (e.g. the newspaper company that they are telemarketing subscriptions for) and tell their client company that they may be fined in an enforcement action. I received this call on my cell.  I did not answer the call because I did not recognize the number.  I did not call back.  It was December 26 and 6:57PM.Who does this number belong too?  And how can this information be found.  If it is happening to many people, I am su****ious.

i have been getting calls from this telephone number since june 2008. The phone just rings when I call the number back. A girl answered once but did not say what it was regarding. I get calls from this telephone number at least once a week in the evening betwenn 7-10pm.

Same complaint. I've been getting the calls and know pretty much who has my number and what numbers would be calling me. If I don't know the number (like this annoying one I don't answer). Seems like telemarketers are using our cells numbers as means to do the same thing they do to our house phones-ANNOY us. Just ignore the call-they'll go away. Or we can all answer with a lovely "F&*% You" and simply **** up. F--U would be quite funny! Turn it around on them! :) Smiles to everyone

Kept getting calls with no one answering on other end. Finally got a human today from Valley Times newspaper claiming I owed the $26 past due. I told her that I didnt want the lame paper anymore, but she insisted I owed the money. I asked her to send me a copy of our contract. She seemed confused. I said for her to stop bothering me and remove me from your "list"...we'll see what happens

I received this call at 7:08 PM , I didnt answer . When I called back , it was voicemail box . And later on 8:45PM , my mom received the same call , she answered but no one there .

Apparently the phone number is originating from Belvedere/Tiburon, CA. About 15 North of San Francisco in Marin County. I received a call from them at around 8:00pm PST on my work phone for the last two days.

every night or every other night between 1800 - 2000 hrs pst i get a call from this number. they never leave a message and they won't pick up in the evening when i call back but i got someone to pick up this morning, 0900 pst. they answered the phone turnkey solutions. i spoke with michael and asked that my name be removed from the call list. his managers name is marlene. let's see if they call back...

Got this call about 8:30 PM. When I Googled it, I saw quite a few complaints already. We need to get so****ing done about this kind of harassment.

I have CA cell number , but I live on east coast. I receive call everyday between 11pm - midnight EST. It always wakes me up and by the time I pick up, it is disconnected. today some guy did say few gibberish words, with some female voice in background laughing. Then it got disconnected. Looked like prank to me.

On another complaint website, this number is listed quite a bit. The people who have answered the phone call state after about 10-15 seconds after they answer, a telemarketer comes on the line soliciting for the San Francisco Chronicle.

I answered this phone number, and it was hard to understand the dude. I couldn't hear him properly line was static-ish like. So I guess the dude ***g up on me. Then today I had a miss call at 7:33pm from the guy. leaving no message. How'd the***** did this person get my phone number. T_T

Every evening around 7:30-8:00pm for the past 2 weeks I'e been getting calls from this number. They never leave a message and whn I try to return a call I get a busy signal.

I live in San Francisco and I have received several unsolicited calls from this number, usually early in the evening, on my cell phone. I did not answer them because I didn't recognize the number and it stopped ringing after only 3 rings.Most recent calls were:3-17-2008 8:19pm Pacific time3-12-2008 6:58pm3-11-2008 7:45pmI read comments above that suggested the calls could be from the SF Chronicle.I had an unpleasant experience with them a few years ago when I bought a subscription to help send the seller to college, so he said. After a few months, I called to cancel the subscription many times. But the paper and bills kept coming. Eventually, I decided to stop paying the bills. They "dinged" my credit report even though I paid several monthly bills after requesting that my subscription be cancelled. I will never subscribe a***n. The small savings do not justify the irritation and frustration I experienced in dealing with them.

If you wait a moment, perhaps 10 or 15 seconds, someone will come on the line attempting to sell you the San Francisco Chronicle newspaper.  At least this is what happened for me.I told the telemarketer that making unsolicited sales to cell phones is illegal (as I cited in an above post here).  She asked if I'd like to speak with a supervisor.  I said yes and I was transferred.  I got someone, forgot to write down name, and told him the same thing.  He said he'd remove my number from their list.  I then asked to speak to his supervisor, he was taken back by that question for a moment, but transferred me to his supervisor. The supervisor came on, explained to him the situation and then I asked for his name, Joseph Jiron, and then requested information about the company he works for.The information I got was : Turnkey solutions602-242-82496017 West Bethany Home RoadGlendale Arizona85301I'll continue to investigate.  This is sort of fun.
