How to get them to stop? They still call me, just not as often. Each time a live person calls I try to sell them so****ing. Of course not sharing any personal information. The person will often get frustrated and **** up.
Robocall from a company offer to lower my credit card bill.
Called about interest rates on debt I don't have.
Scammer
i'm po'd as i live in hawaii which is 3 hours behind the west coast. not only did these a**wipes wake me up at 6:30 in the morning, but they called my cell which is a number i rarely give out. where did they get it from is what i want to know. i tried calling back the number, but it just rang busy. i'm going to report them to the National Do Not Call Registry.
Scam Alert. Told me they could give me lower rates on my card(s). I asked what company this is or which banks they represent. The caller provided several names including Citi & BofA. The individual mentioned that I needed at least a $3000 balance on my credit cards in order to to be eligible for the rate reduction program. When I responded that I had no CC debt, he ***g up. Beware.

Some of you keep asking how do I make them stop....first of all stop pressing 1 or 2 or whatever number they tell you to press. Once you do this they know they have you curious and the onslaught continues. The same goes for email spam. Once you open a spam email. there is code embedded in the email that lets the spammer know the email was opened and now they have a real verified live email address. DELETE DELETE DELETE....**** UP **** UP **** UP or just do not answer the phone if you do not know the number......If it is really important and from someone you know then they will leave a message.
Bunch of monkeys!
Clearly a scammer's number. It was an automated message trying to get credit card info. But they were super ***ue and didn't say WHICH credit card. Block this number!
BOGUS company - SCAM ALERT. Would not give name of company - purported to be my credit card company - no problem just calling to offer to reduce my interest amount. It was on my work number, which I have NEVER provided for any personal business of mine. I asked them to put the number on a do not call list - he refused. When I asked for the name of the company - he ***g up. BEWARE!!!
They ***g up when I answered. No time for stuff like this.
Alert!!! "Credit Card Services" it is not and not a credit card company Calls from 415-876-8484 When I get the pre recorded message about lowering interest rates, I know this might be a scam, so I pressed 1. He wanted some information, but I wanted his information first. Caller could not give me his corporate office address, said he did not know it. Told him I would first need additional information before I would give him any credit card information. He had none. Told the caller I would be reporting this number to the Department of Justice and the Texas Office of Consumer Credit and TX AG. Then proceeded to tell me he was just a poor guy working in a call center. He abruptly thanked me and ***g up. They are phishing for your credit card information under the ploy of giving you are a lower rate. They said the represent Chase, BofA, Wells Fargo, Capitol One , etc.
This makes me very upset... This is a **** CreditCard Co. that calls my cell phone using my minutes.. Stop calling me because I pay for this... I don't want/need a CreditCard..
seems like a scam same experience as mark, but they dont know which card they are offering to lower. DONT GIVE THEM INFO!
This is one annoying credit card company - they call my home phone and my cell phone and tell me to apply for a lower interest rate and offer option 1 to talk to a rep and 2 to be removed - I have pressed 1 and 2 on different calls and they just **** up. It was bad enough when it was my land line and now the cell - how do I make them stop?
