The text message came in another language full of symbols that translated to “do you have time for a meal together?” but this is not a number I know

A text message was sent that I missed an appointment with an ****** and that therefore money was owed or my family would be harmed. I then received graphic photos from another number stating that if 1500 was not paid, my family would be harmed. I had no appointment with an ******, and even if there was an appointment and it was missed, the threats of violence are inexcusable and criminal.
