Leave a CommentHi, so this is true? Should we go..Got a call the other nite.
http://www.idiotonastick.com/talk/2009/07/the-vacation-store-review/Just went to the site above, thanks to Markus, above, and after reading all the negative comments by those who actually went, some who signed, my husband and I will steer clear. I'm all for giving folk a chance, and hoping for the best, but why take a chance of being ripped off and having to spend two hours with over zealous con artists? My husband and I have better things to do on a Sunday. Thanks to Markus and all those on the site mentioned above. I just wonder why some call it TVS and I was told they were CVS, but the address for the presentation is the same, though the phone number is different. I'm sure they have many. That was a close call.
Hey,I received the call today, saying I'd submitted a ballot about a year or so ago. The phone number was different, though, it was 416-642-2007, and I spoke with Tina. I have read all the negative comments, but the one comment I liked was by someone who actually went and did get the promised vacations. I am hoping that person is legitimate and not someone from CVS. My husband is very skeptical, but we are pros as saying no as we've been scammed once, and won't be fooled a***n (thanks Petey.)We will go and ensure we are out in the 90 minutes promised, and I will write what happens, whether they are legit or not, to advise or warn others. I have no vested interest in lying, if they are good, I will say so, if they are not, I will warn everyone, but to say they are not legit without going is very closed minded and prejudiced. We must have some faith in this world, or what's the point?
Received call from same outfit two weeks ago. Went last Sa****ay to attend 90 minute spiel on vacation deal. Declined the package and asked about my free gift, a trip for 3 days to Niagara Falls. Just returned from there. It cost me $29.99 for the stay plus 20.00 parking for two nights. Great hotel (Fallview) and even received atwo $50.00 dinner vouchers fro TGIF. We had a great time and would probably attend a***n if invited. We also have a FREE trip to Florida for a week or 3 days in Vegas, good for 24 months. We;ll see if that works out too. I;m surprised there are so many complaints about this company, yet none of the complainers actually seem to have attended. We thought "what do we have to lose?" 90 minutes? big deal
Got a call from this number the other day from a guy who presented himself as Marc (claims he is calling from suite life vacations). I am glad I read up on the company and not made the trip to 216 Chrisley rd in Woodbridge. It's a scam. I received a call today from this number. "Peter calling from City Water". That's what it sounded like. I'm not going to return the call based on the previous comments.
I got a call tonight from the same number - a man named Wayne Wilson saying that I had won a trip to Vegas including the flight, at a 4-5 star hotel that I would choose from, the only thing not included was food. He said I had won from a ballot I had filled out at a home show. He told me that I had definitely won the prize and wouldn't have me come all the way out to Vaughan to pick it up if he wasn't 100% sure that I had won this prize. He said that all I had to do was drop in to an "open house" (not a seminar!), just a casual brunch where they would tell us about their company located at 216 Chrislea Rd in the Vaughan Trade Centre. He said that the company was called CVS and also said that it wasn't a time sharing company but a discount vacation company whatever that is. After doing some research on the internet since he called, i am definitely not going to bother to collect the prize....!
Who is this. CVS in Vaughan, Ontario, Ca***a. Caller was ***ue regarding the company and services. So****ing to do with travel vacations. Caller explained that I had won a Free Trip. Nothing is Free. All feedback appreciated.
