I had posted selling an item on a local FB page. They contacted me saying they were interested, but needed to verify I was a real person and asked for a google verification code. Scammer!

Wanted to verify security code generated from Google.

This number text me claiming to be looking for someone named “Max” and claiming to be named “Mandy”, and saying they had met on Tinder before, asking if this was “Max’s” number still. I replied that it was a wrong number, but they continued to text me, and then tried to get to know me. Even though I have never met them before. It seems like a scam.
