This just happened to me.  I called the number back on impulse, has anyone had any problems after this call?

I got the same thing at 12:56pm 1/20/10 PST in Oregon.  He said hi and ***g up, and on call back the number was disconnected.802 W Scott St, Springfield, MO 65802, USA  That is the location of this guys home address where this land line is in use... Just so you know!!!  Gotta love technology, huh?? Used Intelius to get the lat, long, then Wundermap Interactive Radar...  This guy apparantly lives a couple doors down from a church per the radar... HMMMMM... Too bad we can't sic the police on the guy...BTW... I did call the springfield, MO police dept... they did say that this is a valid address, and that the person probably had a spammer card, which allows him to program any number into the caller id., so that you do not know where he lives.  Nice, huh??http://www.wunderground.com/wundermap/?lat=45 ... nzanita%2c%20OR

Just got a call from this number.  A guy said "uh, hi," and then the call disconnected.

Same thing as Kathy.

Just got a call from this number. Left message saying he could reduce my interest rate and since I was only making the min payments it would be a great time to reduce my payments. Once he said min payments I knew it was a scam because I never make just the min payments on any credit card and never have, I always pay more then the min.

Got a call on cell from this same guy at approx 1:00 p.m., I lost the connection, cuz, of poor connection, lost call, but same thing, called number back and it's been disconnected or no longer in service.

Got a call from this number just like other people.  No one answered my return call.

Just called me as well said "uh*****o" sounded like a bad line then ***g up. I'm in AZ so he's calling all over the country

"Hey guys, Tim Johnson here.  Lower interest rates on credit cards. Great time to switch to his program offering low interest rates since I only pay the credit card min."  Not sure how this company got this number, I never give it out.  Might have gotten the # from one of my credit card companies or from Acura (Honda Motor Corp).

I just got a call from this number too, and I have never been on Craigslis before.all he was "Ah,*****o" I asked who it was, but there was no reply so I ***g up.

The mans name was "Tim Johnson" saying we talked about lowering my interest rates on my credit card and that the call was the Last Curtsy call they would give. I called the 1-866-237-7637, talked to a lady and asked for Tim Johnson. She said he was busy but she could help. I told her he must have the wrong number because I don't have credit cards. She asked for the my number and said she would tell Tim not to call anymore and apologized for the call.

Called me in Seattle at 9:05, 1/20/2010.  Said*****o and then nothing until it disconnected.  I did have an ad on Craigslist two days ago that included my home phone number, not the private cell number they called on.  Called back and there is a recorded message the phone number is disconnected, however this sounds perhaps like a 'homemade' recording....

Same here.. So****ing like a voice saying "hello......" Then after a few seconds of me saying "yes?*****o? ect" the line disconnected.I was unable to return the call as "This number does not exist or has been disconnected". Ignore this call and go on with life...wondering in the back of your head how the***** they got your number.

Same thing JUST happened to me...i said "hello" ...he said "yeahhh HI." and that was that. Ughh.

This just happened to me as well from the same number.  Someone said*****o and then the call was disconnected.  When I tried calling back I got that the number had been disconnected or was no longer in service.

I have been on Craigslist looking for employment NYC.  Boston area by chance?

Have any of you guys been answering ads on Craigslist for employers? I called the number the guy left (866.237.7637) and said I thought that they were scamming people by posting fake employment ads on Craigslist, and the girl who answered said, "Ooooh nooo! We would never do that. He must have misdialed." Then she pretended to look up my phone number and say it wasn't in their system. Her response seemed a little TOO smooth. Please post if you've been looking for work on Craigslist. If we can figure out which ads are their fakes, we can report it to Craig.

It is a recorded message pretending to be a real person, saying he talked to you last week about reducing your monthly payments. the call back number he leaves is 866.237.7637I haven't talked to anyone about reducing payments, and he called on a private line that I would never have given the number out for ALTHOUGH I did give it as a contact number when I sent out a few resumes. NICE Scam-- Calling people who are looking for work. They're probably great leads for people looking to reduce payments.

It is a spammer. They left a message and sounded like it was a recorded message and was talking about reducing credit card debit which I dont have so I know for a fact that it is indeed a spammer.

I never answer phone numbers that I don't know but thought I would look this one up and sure enough..it's a spammer.

20-Jan 2010Has called twice this morning.  Caller speaks and then silence until disconnect.

20-Jan-2010 Call came in at 9:00 a.m. ***g up as soon as I answered. Has called my number several times in the past...never leaves a message. When you dial back it says the number is disconnected or no longer in service??????
