Leave a Commentthey call my house like three times a day every single day
Very rude and had to argue with them to take off me off of their list.
what josh said is we are idiot and not taking the calling that help him making a buck, we are idiot.even i stayed in wyndham before, it is still illegal for them to reach me at NO CALL LIST
I actually work for wyndham. It's a legite company. You can get deals on vacations but you do have to attend the timeshare presentation, ****mum 2 freakin hours. If I had a dollar for everytime I called someone and they thought it was a scam. Nope, we're mostly just college students in a call center hating our jobs. "My wife almost got taken in by it, good thing I was nearby."...what a hero you are...idiot.Keep 2 things in mind. Wyndham owns Days Inn, Ramada, Howard Johnson, Super 8, Baymont Inn, Knights Inn and also Wingate hotels. So if you'd stayed in one of those, that's why they're calling. Also if you don't answer and let it go to voicemail then it puts you back in the system to call within the next hour because we are not allowed to leave voicemails. Just some helpful hints!
Thnx for the info folks. I got couple of calls and I'm ignoring from now on.
I got a call from this number.. but they have not left a voice message.
The phone rang and I answered after the fourth ring. When I answered, the party at the other end ***g up. I looked up their number and ended up here.
just got a call from them a few minutes ago, they tried to get me to buy some package from them, and attend a timeshare, it all sounded nice until they asked me to pay and i was like no sorry, and ***g up...............if they call back i just won't answer, easy to remember 417 area code.....
Wyndham VacationsSame old story...they lied about me staying in a resort in a city that I've never even been to. Then they tried to offer a vacation package to me for $149. The best thing to do is answer and **** up. If you don't answer, the computer will keep putting you back in the system. If you answer and talk, they will keep calling back. The problem with the DO NOT CALL list is that there are many exemptions. If a company or its affiliates can show that you have a standing business relationship with them, they can continue to call. That means that if you stayed at any hotel who is affiliated with a company that telemarkets for these guys, its considered a standing business relationship. It also means that if you used you visa card at Target, the issuing bank can call, the company on the card can call (such as Cabellas, REI, or Northwest Airlines) and any companies affiliated with Target corporation can call. About the only people who can't call on the DNC list are the small neighborhood businesses that you might actually WANT to do business with. Other exemptions are non-profits, such as police and firefighters (sound familiar) and politicians (now isn't THAT convenient). The DO NOT CAll list is a great big scam that supports political interest and big corporations.
Yes, got a call from this number to my office. It's good that this site can be reached by Google search from the phone number and then I know it's a telemarketing. I just ignored this call. No message left neither.
I have received numerous calls on my office phone from this number. I have never answered it and they never leave a message.
Yup, just got a call at work at around 7PM regarding this number. Probably best to ignore the call as ms noted in the note above.
Saw this number on the missed calls caller ID at work, 3 times this week. If it is Wyndham, they need to stop harassing people and stop clogging up work phone lines.
Repeated calls to my ma****e, what ****s!
Got a call from this location - I have just STOPPED answering calls from area codes I don't know - OR - unknown number/info etc. I'm on the DO NOT CALL list - but it doesn't seem to do much good if you have to still get calls 'from companies you do business with' - and thier 'off*****s' - which is what most of these kinds of calls are SICK of it!!!!!
I got a call from them last night, said they were from Wyndham resorts, told us we had stayed with them and we'd gotten a membership upgrade or so****ing, and they wanted to give us so****ing for free, except this "free" thing was going to cost $150 for a vacation we weren't going to take. My wife almost got taken in by it, good thing I was nearby. If you get a call from this number, don't answer it, or **** up on them.
417-877-2605 Wyndham Vacations. (say they are also called WestGate). They call and tell you that you've recently stayed with them OR that you made a Reservation for someone else... (Both completely UNTRUE), and so therefore they want to offer you a vacation to stay with them in Las Vegas. LIARS!I even called back the number and they INSTANTLY knew what number I was calling from, and gave our name. I asked for more details, they made them up along the way and said we stayed there in June and how about a vacation to Las Vegas?? They are LIARS!
Noticed this number on my caller id this morning in the office. Left no message.
