I also got a phone call saying that i had won a $1000 walmart gift card, so i new immediatley that it sounds to good to be true, but at the same time you think what if this is true, so he asked me for my name, where i lived, and that i could use this card for a shopping spree and electronics and he also asked me what my favourite football team was , see that's is where they get you, they become friends with you, so i played along and gave them a number from my american express gift card which only had 1 dollar in it, but it didn't work for them, he wanted to have my debit card number so i told him i don't have it with me. Now he is going to keep calling and i am going to **** him off, act **** and punish them, can you imagine how many people get scammed for this s**t, people don't get fooled, you bring this money by spilling your sweat, don't waste it on scammers. Be Advised, educate yourself before doing anything people say.Peace Out!!

I had a voicemail that said "Hi Leah this is such and such Congratulations you just won $1000 online shopping spree." So I called back and she asks for my first name and my phone number and what state am I calling from. She said she'll call right back. So she calls right back saying Leah you have good credit thru Publishers so****ing and you have a $1000 redeemable online shopping spree. She then asks for my credit card number I told her I aint have one because I'm not giving my credit card number to no one over the phone. So I asked could she mail it to me. She then says you got to have a credit card got mad and ***g up on me. Thank god I'm not that ****** or she could of ripped me off. Don't no one who is giving you so****ing free ask for your credit card number. There toll free number was 866-875-2034 and there number they called from was 423-317-9608

this number called me twice today and left one voicemail congratulating "Brian for winning a $1,000 online shopping spree."  They called last month about this same time, but never left a message.   No one that is offering to give you anything for free would ask you to pay for S & H - too bad there are way too many ignorant people out there that really fall for this. Companies like this pray on the elderly and it's pathetic.

this number called me and left a message that i won $1000 online shopping spree, so i called back and he said they were at lunch can i call you back.... sorry to say so****ing like that you are obviously not real! he said their toll free # was 1-866-875-2034

i got a call from them today 4233178219... He told me all about how i won 1000.00 online gift certificate and these magazines... Then asked what my occupation was..told them i was not currently employed so they asked me what my husband did..(?).. As soon as i said Air Force he got real quiet...So i said what do i have to buy first..He proceeded to tell me that i only had to pay shipping and handling...I said im not giving you my card # so that you can drain my life savings...SORRY! He ***g up! Then i called the number back and told them to take me off their lists and that i wasnt going to be part of their scams.. and she was like..No ma'am this is very real..These are actually cause you have used your Debit card somewhere...I said..NO ***T!! Cause you stole my number from somewhere! And dont call me anymore..its a waste of my time and yours..she said..OH.. CLICK! HE left me a message to call him back at 18668752034..His name was Jenson..and Her name was ashley.. Now everyone in this world should know that a company big enough to give away 1000.00 Has more than one secretary..Its usually a big call center..LOSERS!

I got a call from this number and they said they were from "The Publishers Service" so****ing about books and magazines and whatnot. They said I had qualified for a $1000 gift card to use online. They asked my name and number to look me up, asked if I had a visa or mastercard "i said i have a debit card, its a visa" then they asked me where i was employed so i said "I'm not employed currently." Then the woman said that it required me to have a job in order to be eligible for the gift card. She said "I'll keep your name on file and we'll give you a call in the future to see if I'd gotten a job."Sounds to me like they want to steal my money...but i dont have an income so they werent interested...

i just got this call at 9:00am this morning and they said in a parrot toned voice "billy, billy?" and then in a voice that scared the s**t outta me they said my name once more. it was such a deep voice, like a prank call. i also get calls from other 317 numbers like this one, 317-9049 and 317-8519 and then a 961-9224. who the***** is this?

I have been getting calls from this number and other ones on my cellphone.  They keep asking for a Mary.  I tell them that no one is here by that name.  Then they ask me if I have a Discover or American Express card.  At this point I **** up.  I have answered it several times and I continue to tell them to stop calling me.

Got about 4 calls from this number so far, the person was very rude when I called back to ask why they called me.  Everytime I called them they keep asking for my first and last name and phone number to look up the person that called me and why.  When I tell them to stop calling me, they say they will take me off the list but they just keep calling back and from a different number 423-317-0554.

I get at least 1-2 calls from this number everyday it seems. Who is it and what do they want? Why do they not talk? After I answered it the first time, now I get calls from other numbers that do the same thing. 514-555-5555 has been calling me 2-3 times a day. ***? It's like spam for cellphones I think.

i called it back once and they told me i'd won a 500 dollar online shopping spree. i ***g up, they've called back twice a day since.

Called back. They immediately asked me if I had recieved a call. When I said yes they asked for my name and phone number and told me the person who called would call me back. I asked what company it was and they told me they were a publisher that worked with a major credit card. I have been getting calls for 3 days from various numbers from the same area code!

called cell phone, no message. calls once or twice a day at least
