how do yuou stop these clowns from calling

I get these too. I have come up with a name of my attorney. Younte ***kenmenomere. Your Not ***ken me no more. Get it. When they ask me a***n for my name I just say Younote(you no te)  I just keep repeating that I am my attorney of record as soon as they call and they keep badgering to talk to me. Eventually they get frustrated and **** up. They are a bunch of idots. I also asked them for the attorney's name yes****ay and looked that name up with the California Bar and nothing will show up. I just laugh in their ears. Drives them insane and they finally **** up. Eventually they might quit calling.

The last time this guy called for a person who works here said his name was Leon Kennedy.  He is now using the name Michael Black.  He has a heavy Indian accent and proceeded to tell me that our employee was going to be arrested if he didn't return his call.  He keeps c****ing the name of the business and continues to call even though we have asked him not to.  They are very rude so I am rude right back. He continually calls this persons cell phone and leaves threatening messages.  We reported this to Law Enforcement Officials but the calls continue and have been coming for about 5 months. Last phone number he called from was 424-244-6058, but it comes in other numbers as well as well as 0000000000.

Got a call here today, & for the last 2 weeks, AT WORK for a co-worker.  When you tell 'Bill Wilson" that the co-worker is not here he gets rude and nasty.  Has the same accent everyone else on this site & 2-3 others have said.  Said he was from the Department of Law & Investigation in California.  The more you ask "is this work related?" He gets really nasty and begins threatening arrest and law suits.

Just received a call from them. I called back and record the phone call.they said that I own money to a US cash advance , which I do not.I told them that if they called me a***n i will  report them. The "lady" on the phone was rude and use a n explicit language.. and have a very hick accent I could barely understand his jibberish.. and she had the face to say that I do not understand English ...

I received 3 calls from this number.  The calls were from a male with a very thick Indian accent.  He said that he was from the Department of Investigation and that my situation was very very bad and I should have my attorney contact him immediately.  Also, he said his name was Chadwick Martin.  Each time he sounded like he was reading a script and very unsure of himself.. like someone was putting him up to it.  The third time I answered the call since I don't have any loans out and I told him that I was filing a report a***nst him and to keep talking so that I could get more information.  He had my home address and said that he was going mail the subpoena for me to appear in court.  I told him to keep talking because I was recording the call.  He sounded even more nervous and then ***g up.  Curiously a couple of minutes before the calls s****ed I received a junk text on my phone from Last Chance Payday Loan.  I hope we can find these guys!

This number has called me at home several times and at my place of employment today. He is very nasty on the phone to others that answer. He told my boss he was from Department of Law Investment and that a lawsuit has been filed a***nst me. He left 2 messages today. I did not keep them. For one he had such a thick accent I could barely understand his jibberish. Secondly, I didnt know better. I do have his name because he gave it to my boss and she sent me an email regarding it. However this number (424-244-6058) is not the number that shows up when he calls, this is the number he leaves. What can I do about his harrassment?

I work for a collection company and I am aware of the laws out there.  First off it is a***nst the law for any company to call and leave detail message even if someone answers.  If they do then that would be a lawsuit that no collection or law firm, department of investigation wants to take.  They are not to contact you more then once a day.  So that should tell you right there that it is a scam.  You need to get as much information from that person and contact FTC (Federal Trade Commission) Do not let them know that because they will c****e there number and call you from another number and claim they are a different company.  Hope this information helps you guys.

That number 424 244 6058.  I can tell you right now that its a fake number.  It's a scam do not fall for it.  They claim they are from a law firm company but you can tell off the bat that she or he has an accent so they are not calling from the US.  Those types of calls I do not take seriously.  If you have applied for a payday loan online anyone can easily get your information and try to use it a***nst you and claim they are from a Special force, Supreme Court, law firm to get you to do a payment by credit card or western union or money gram.  ITS A SCAM!!!! Do not fall for it.  I get that call all the time and I don't take it seriously at all.

Very thick Asian accents.  The first few calls I ***g up because I did not understand the person.  A couple of nights ago someone called claiming I ignored his "paralegal."  He claimed their are three legal matters of fraud a***nst my social security number and that he is sending the legal do***ents to a family member and my place of employment.  Funny thing is I have not received any legal docs.  I supposed they will call a***n.  I will send these messages to the State Attorney's Office in my hometown.

I got a call from this number 424-244-6058 his name is Harley brown, Department of Law, He has a very funny speaking accent. I know the debt collector R.A. ROGERS INC put these people to call me and threaten me. Mr. Brown kept leaving nasty and threaten messages at my place of employment and personal phone. The call is so disturbing to myself and family for a debt that I owned when I fell sick with cancer. I am paying my debts one at time until finish, but i certainly don't need to be harass to pay them. What can I do to make them stop?

His name is Terry Kelly. He is the LOWEST form of debt collector known on the face of the earth! He will have his flunkies disguise their voices and come up with outlandish stories to get you to call them back. They break pretty much all the laws regarding the fair debt collection act. Matter of time he'll be in jail for this or an irate debtor will put him down

They called me twice at my place of employment today and have threatened to have me arrested for an unpaid loan.  They are violating the FDCPA (Fair Debt Collection Practices Act).  First, they cannot call and leave a message more than once in a 24 hour period.  Secondly, they cannot threaten you with a lawsuit or arrest for an outstanding debt.  They do not have the power or authority to bring a lawsuit a***nst you and threatening to do so is deceptive practices.  You also CANNOT be arrested for an outstanding debt.  Make sure you keep a log of the calls and if possible save their voicemails.  Submit it to your local District Attorney.  They are breaking the law.

Any idea who could call from this phone number.
