Called me knew my name, told me they were calling from AT&T UVerse and wanted to know what I was currently spending on TV, phone and internet. I told them and they gave me a price if I signed up with them as a bundle deal. It was cheaper than what I paying so I said yes! They told me in order to set up service they would need my CA driver's licence number, expiration date and date of birth to verify eligibility. I gave them that and they gave me a service time they would be out. I called AT&T today because I had a question about the service and they show no record of me being set up for service. They also told me that UVerse is not even available on my street right now. I called the FTC and the credit agencies and they put a flag on my file. BEWARE!!!!!

When I answered the phone no one spoke. I could hear people talking in the back ground but no one spoke on the phone.

I am on the Do Not Call list, therefore, I am filing a complaint. After this call I will block this number. How to stop these people!

The man asked is this Mrs. (and a last name) and I said Uh - no. And he ***g up. After seeing all the complaints about this phone number - I would suggest no one calls it back as it is first - a toll call unless you have the same area code and second - there are a lot of scams out there that make people call back a phone number and then you get a huge dollar amount billed on your home telephone service. So don't bother calling back - get caller ID and when they call - pick up the phone and **** it right back up. Say nothing.

claimed to be att customer service and wanted to know if I had internet service. I told the ladie if she was att customer service, she should know what I have. I told her she was a telemarketer, and dont call here a***n, and I ***g up.

They claimed to be AT&T. When I asked what they wanted, they ***g up. Since it was an unknown name calling at 7:30 on a Sunday evening, I knew it was not AT&T.

Woman caller (possibly with an Indian accent) called at 8pm Sunday night. Claimed to be from AT&T calling with an 'update call', whatever the eff that is. Sounded su****ious -- wanted to know what AT&T service I have. Um, if you're calling from AT&T then you know what kind of service I have. Sounded like she was calling from Grand Central Station. I couldn't help but be rude. Sorry, lady.

Called said they're surveying Dish, then they said they could upgrade or switch me to direct. Seems like a call forwarded from India a calling bank. I called Dish Network and they indicated it may be a 3rd party solicitor. I think it's a foreign business doing criminal activity looking for useful information and this cover's worked for them. I'm going to the police tomorrow, but doubt they'll take it seriously.I spoke with Mary Soh 720-514-8555 xt71084 [email protected] from Dish Network who****ured me they'd investigate further and let me know the results.

Received a phone call from this number at 2:47pm on 9-28-08. Stated that he is from AT&T Customer Service and wanted to know what service we had with AT&T. Had a foreign accent. Since when does AT&T have customer service calling on a Sunday.If this call is from T-Mobile USA, obviously this is not a legitimate AT&T call.

Picked up the phone and they asked for us by last name. She was hard to understand and wouldnt tell me who it was. I ***g up.

My answering ma****e picked up this call at 1:44 in the afternoon on Tuesday, September 23, 2008.  A ****led woman's voice kept saying "hello . . .*****o . . .*****o . . ." from what sounded like a crowded restaurant.  Might have been a telemarketing room full of callers instead of a restaurant.

Am on the do not disturb list, but receive calls from this number. After googling the number I discovered it to be an unknown telemarketer.

Same thing for me.  It called, I let it go to my ma****e. When I called it back it said "not a working number".  So, companies have now figured out how to bother us w/calls and using a DIFFERENT number!?

When I answered the call, there was a delay in talking. I ***g up after I heard there was someone at the other end. I thought it might be a sells pitch?

Caller was not specific. Caller asked for my wife. Caller wanted to know who homeowners were. The number they called was a cell phone number. It is not linked to my residence.

Unknown name on caller ID from Los Angeles, CA.  I do not have Dish network and they do not leave a message.

The call log says Culver City, CA and as soon as I say "we do not accept solicitation, please remove me from the list" they just ***G UP!  Can you believe the nerve.  HORRIBLE!!!

I get several calls a day and evening. Always ****s up. If this is T mobile, why isn't it traced? This has been going on for about a month, daily, all times and several times. It's just annoying and the caller is having fun. I am in California.

I'm not with Dish. I get several calls a day from this number and always a **** up.  I'm  on the DNC list, which means nothing as I get calls from lenders even at 9 pm.I just bought a new phone system at Costco, a Panasonic, which I can block the number but it also has talking caller ID.I am disabeled and this is very annoying.  Block the number.

This number continues to call 2-5- times a day; never leave a message and I don't recognize the number so do not answer. How do we stop this nonsense?

Calls every day or evening. My caller I.D. captures the number and they don't ever leave a message. I just found this site and see that I am not the only one with a problem with these people. I am also on the National Do Not Call list and used to file a report on-line on the violations of the do not call list. It doesn't do any good.

I greatly resent I pay good money to have a telephone and idiots like this make it necessary for me to keep it unplugged and use only for outgoing calls. Maybe I can get my phone company to reduce my invoice by 50%. Unfortunately, while we can block these calls, they just continue using another number.

Calls during the day and doesn't leave a msg. Finally calls around 9 p.m. on a Sunday night and insists they are going to have someone come out and install an upgrade for the DVR I already have that will give me HDTV. Of course, all of this is free and no monthly charge or installation fee. Was transferred to a supervisor who said the same thing but said I would get $40 off my first bill. She even told me how much I pay every month. I know it will cost more to get HD channels and I don't even have an HD television. Finally, she said we will give this offer to someone else. The very next day on my caller ID they had called while I was at work and of course, no message. I called The Dish the next day and they said there are ***dreds of telemarketers out there but they are not with The Dish. How did they get my name and #? The Dish can't do a thing about the calls. I am also on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY. It doesn't work but I am putting a complaint into their website also.

If Dish network wants to keep it's customers they need hire someone else to do calling the for them... Never seen such dumb rude *******s ,they don't explain things to you as what they want ..Dish network has always been a OK company I don't understand why they would farm out work to these jokers It's sad thing that the company (DISH) would hook up with itiots like these...

These people called me, I did'nt pick up, but later did a *69, where there was a recording indicating the company name as "Business to Consumer Services".  I am on the DNC list, and filed a complaint to the FCC at http://www.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx

My son just joined the Army so I had my house phone calls sent to my cell phone - don't want to miss a single call. Found this site looking for where in the***** 424 was. I've rec'd 3 calls in as many days and I'm getting sick of it. Maybe I would feel better if there was actually someone there for me to **** up on!

They called me and said Dish Network. They had detailed information on my account. They setup an appt. to do an upgrade. Seemed ok to me.

Just got the call from these idiots, at 12:35 AM.  I am livid.  If anyone has any more information please post.  I plan to take this to the State Attorney General.

someone from this number just called and spoke to my 8 yr old daughter - asked her her name and age and then kept asking more questions, prompting her to give the phone to me. Then the told me that he was a classmate of hers and wanted to talk to her.  I ***g up.  I'm going to call the police.

We are now receiving calls from this number in Culver City, California. Ma Bell apparently doesn't care. Is there anything the FCC can do to stop this kind of harrassment? In the meantime, we'll check out the Panasonic phone described previously.

Hard to understand the caller. Sounded as if it was about a cable tv offer. Asked for the supervisor. The supervisor came on the line. I asked him to take my number off his call list. He issisted on asking why I didn't want to be called. he never said he would remove me from his call list. After a couple of minutes I ***g up.

I got a call from 424-603-6232. I have Caller ID and since I don't know anybody from that area code, I didn't answer the call. Then I hopped on the Internet and found this to be a bogus caller/harasser. A couple weeks' ago, I'd bought a Panasonic DECT 6.0 phone with answering ma****e -- and most DECT phones have a new feature called "Call Block." I****igned 424-603-6232 to the phone's Call Block list. Now whenever this party calls me from this number, they'll get a busy signal! and the call will not go through. DECT phones are very affordable. I love Call Block in coordination with Caller ID! What took you so long, Call Block?

THIS NUMBER CALLS FREQUENTLY, BUT NEVER LEAVES A MESSAGE; THIS IS GETTING BORING AND NEEDS TO STOP.

I got a call yes****ay and today.  They told me Dish network upgrade, and I accepted it, but they didn't have my account info though. I will find out if the guys show up tomorrow for installation or not.  WHen I called back it says that it is Business to Consumer Services.  The agent gave me a 888 number to call back as well. anbd the installer number.  Both had my records.  So, seems valid, until I get this done tomorrow.
