This is currently one of the customer service lines for Carparts.com ; We received a call back from their representative on a refund for a damaged part that was shipped.
didn't leave a message
Not a scammer. Call I received was regarding my jc whitney.com order. Rep. Said to disregard call. Probably just calling to advise me that my two parts ordered will be coming from different warehouses and billed separate. I was not even asked a thing about auto repair, shops or the like.
Time wasters
several ****up calls from this number, but i HAVE gotten a few of the will you pay for a towtruck bill and cover parts scam calls as well.

Definitely Auto Parts Network. Answer the phone for if you've ordered so****ing they're fulfilling (like from partstrain), they may be calling to let you know an item on your order is not available.
THESE PEOPLE CALLED THIS MORNING AND GAVE AN ARRAY OF ITEMS I WOULD BE RECEIVING AS A PREMIERE CUSTOMER AND THAT THEY WERE GONNA SEND ME A GAS CARD FOR 2.99 CENTS THEY WERE GONNA CHARGE MY CARD FOR AND DID NOT GET AN OK.. NOT TO MENTION I AM GONNA RECIEVE ALL THESE MAGAZINES AND THINGS. HOW DO YOU GET THEM TO STOP THIS BS
Just an FYI. These calls are from any of a group of online auto parts wholesalers. Partstrain.com, carpartswholesale.com, etc. When a customer orders a part from them they will often ask if this company knows of any local shops that will let them bring the part in to be installed. These companies will then call around to local auto shops to see if it is okay for the customers to bring in their own parts. This really isn't a scam or anything...but it is a bit odd.
I just got a call too bit I didn't pick up. This is after I called an online auto parts place.
We get the same phone calls from that number. I just tell them to call someone else.
I am NOT complaining. This was a legitimate business call informing me that parts which I had ordered online were not available.
called and ***g up called and ***g up called and ***g up.
Called asking many questions. I asked who was calling and she said they just moved here and was referred by one of our customers. She wanted our labor rate so I asked her what kind of car she had and she replied Toyota and Ford. She continued to ask questions like our hours of operation, appointments or walk in and wanted to know if we would put on parts they brought in. I asked her for our customer's name who referred her and the name she gave was not a customer of ours, EVER! I asked her a***n if she was doing a survey for a company and/or getting paid to get this information and she said "NO". She then wanted to know if we were at the same location. I told her yes. What a bunch of **** and how do people lie like this whether you are getting paid or not. This lady lied several times. When I called and asked for a supervisor I got a recording that said "Is still at home". What a waste of time!!!
Asked if I was a shop and wanted to know my shop rate. Also wanted to know if I would let my customer bring his own pads for a ***ke job. I asked who they were and she said automd... however, I heard a lot of telemarketer type of chatter in the background.
called and asked if this was an auto repair shop. when told that it used to be but owners are retired, she ***g up immediately.
Called and asked a few questions and I told them I was not a shop. Wrong number here. do not call a***n. That was last week. They called a***n today and I told them the same thing.
Looking to collect information about doing auto repairs. Will also file with the state of New Jersey. Our number is on DO NOT CALL LIST.
US AUTOPARTS CORP. CALLED TO MAKE APPOINTMENT TO HAVE CAR REPAIRED. ASKED IF I INSTALLED CUSTOMER SUPPLIED PARTS AND WHAT MY LABOR RATE WAS. MUST BE COLLECTING DATA ON AUTO REPAIR SHOPS AND YES SHE DID BOOK APPOINTMENT THAT OBVIOUSLY SHE WILL NOT KEEP
THEY CALL YOUR BUSINESS AND ACT LIKE A CUSTOMER ASKING INFO ABOUT THE BUSINESS, IF YOU ASK THEM WHO THEY ARE OR WHY THEY ARE CALLING THEY GIVE A PERSONS NAME AND SAY THEY WANT TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT AT A LATER TIME.
My phone rang but but no message left or anything.
Called several times and did not leave a message.
not unknown... it's Partstrain, who ripped me off for $60, and after 20 phone calls, and 2 hrs on the phone, refunded my money to the WRONG account, and refused to acknowledge that they *****ed up. Beware of partstrain.com, autopartswarehouse.com, partsbin.com. if they are from Carson CA, AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE! check for my report on ripoffreport.com and the L.A. BBB. !!!!
