Leave a CommentText claimed they required delivery instructions for a Fedex delivery. Definite scam, my text report stated "scam" as well. Fedex tracking numbers are do not include letters.
Message had another person's name in the text; states waiting for me to set up delivery; gave a tracking code and a link. As a former employee of FedEx, I know they don't have "tracking codes"; the link was obviously not a link to FedEx either.
Text comes to cell with a link to see delivery instructions. Scam - don’t open
Claims to be from FedEx and waiting for me to setup delivery preferences.
Text telling me my FEDEX “package” is waiting for me to setup my delivery preferences and to click a link. I’m not expecting any package!! Don’t fall for this. Fake News!!
Saying my deceased husband had a package waiting for him to set delivery preferences. Checked tracking number on FEDEX website..... not a real tracking number
Text claims to be from FedEx wanting for you to verify delivery preferences. It stated my correct first name but used an incorrect letter for my last name. I’m not expecting a package from FedEx! I verified the tracking number it gave as not real on the authentic FedEx site. I didn’t click on the link they provided in the text message, because who knows what will happen. Beware!
