These scammers are from India using english names.There is no such Federal Dept of Law and Investigation.They called my place of employment which for a debt collector is not allowed.Of course posing as fake police is a serious cri*****ese people need to be arrested.

the law office is situated near to my city, and i got a call from the same nmber asking me for my intentions about my case, first of all i asked the person that what is this case about, he got ahead and asked me for the confirmation of my SSN when i did that he proceeded and telling me that i didi a pay day laon but not returned it back and they are suppossed to take legal actions a***nist me by next day and will arrest me from the place of my job, wht exactly happened , my bad luck the line got **** up and next day i found some people inquiring about me as i am working in texas boot company , one of the officer named "Shawn Grey" was upto me and asked me that he is gonna arrest me , i asked him for waht reason i am gonna arrested , i just requsted him to tell me what is this all about , he told me that you have got the call regarding this matter yes****ay and u were trying to run away. i replied yes, i got the call but it got **** up , the officer "Shawn Grey" his kindness he told me that i can do my work , and once they left i got a call in cople of hours from this number asking me my intentions about my paydays, i bexpalined all to them and by luck i met Mr. Christopher Berry he told me that each an every situation will be taken care of as i am having no criminal records before this, so i was given a chance to resolve this matter, ...................If in life i can help Mr. Christopher Berry i will feely myself very good person , i f u are cheking out my words Mr. Christopher Berry ...i am very thankfull that u helped me out when the whole things were gonna ruined , my family , my job ..really i don't have words to explain my pain when i was being told that i am gonna arrested i was thinking of my 6 year old son and nothing else and Mr. Christopher Berry being very kind on me helped me ...............................thanku sir

They tried to get me i almost believed them I applied for pay day loans but never accepted they had my social security number and everything. I pretty sure its a scam though because they say its to late to contact anyone that god bless you and i have mercy on my credit score do i look ****** i told them to come get me because i know i did nothing wrong. Pretty sure its a scam after doing some research.

Scam... They left a voicemail stating that this is from John Miller from the Department of Law and Investigation. I called them @ 3:00am because every ***nch of Law has either a person nearby phone 24 hours or at least a voicemail you can leave a message... nothing. Called a few times w/o anyone answering. According to the person's comments below Katie McDonald, it is about a pay day loan. Ever since I did a search on loans online, these pay day loan scammers have been trying to get me by spamming me or at this point "threatening" me for a pay day loan. I never signed up for one nor will I ever do so. Rest easy everyone... this is a definite Scam!!!

believe me it is a law office they called me two days before and today the sheriff officers left the court summons at the place of my employment and in court sappina's it is written that if I lose to prove myself I will have to give them near about six thousand dollars or i will be in jail as to prior i know one of my friends who did a pay day loan and was arrested, although my references were informed and they are being told to come down to the county court by themselves or otherwise they will be arrested
