A RECORDING SAYING I WAS BEING SUED BY THE IRS AND TO CALL THAT NUMBER.

Told me I am being sued by IRS. Scam.

I got an automated call from this number. A recording said that I am being suited by the IRS and should call this number back immediately. Obviously a fraud that should be subject to criminal prosecution.

They called and said they were from the IRS and said to call a number. We are being sued by the IRS.

Just received a call tell me they were the IRS and filing suit a***nst me...and if I didn't go to the bank within 3 hours and withdraw cash and deliver it to 655 Elm Place I would be arrested!! Please make this known for legal pursuit.

Received a phone message on my cell phone. The individual claimed to be from the IRS and was calling regarding back taxes. When I pressed him for the auditors name, and when the supposed audit occurred he became nervous. I then informed him that he was violating the Fair Credit Reporting Act by calling my cell phone and subject to penalties.. He then claimed he had the wrong person after I advised him that I was an attorney for some 35 years and was well aware that what he claimed was an attempt to commit fraud. I would suggest that consumer fraud be advised, the Federal Prosecutor for violation of the RICO statutes, and civil litigation for penalties under the FCRA .Please make your experience .known, so that we can press for appropriate prosecution.
