Phone number registered in state of Washington--known spammer. Caller said my bank account was under attack and wanted to sell me a $700 software to protect my bank account for when I download it online. I never access my account online! And I do not give strangers any info on my account.

Wanted to sell me software to protect my bank account when I access my account online (which I NEVER do). Wanted $700 to download software and, of course, wanted my bank account number. DUH! Phone number was from Washington state.

Wanted to sell me ($700) software to protect my online bank account access. But I do not access my account online ever and no way was I going to give them my account number. I warned family members about this and also warned my bank about this scam.
