Received text from them on my phone. Obvious scam based on poor grammar, junk address, and the fact that I don't have a relationship with the financial ins***ution identifed.
Got two identical text messages saying "You got 1 WARNING ALERT from CreditUnionNA - Call required" with this number given... knew it didn't make any sense since am not in a credit union
Today (11/21/2013) since 8:45 am ET I’m periodically receiving text messages on my phone warning me that the bank detected fraud activity on my debit card account. Those messages also asking me to call to the number as follows : 1-(425)-606-3663 The sender’s text messages identification is as follows: [email protected]. I feel this is may be a spam. I received nothing official from my bank via an email as I have alert system set in place to notify me if there is anything important that requires my attention.
Received a text - CLEARLY a scam. "You got a C, Union alert" and then a number to call 425-606-3663. Called the number - Credit Union National****ociation Security Dept (yeh, ok) Asks for all your info - card #, PIN #, Address, expiration date. I certainly HOPE that no one falls for this.
Definitely a scam. I got 2 texts right after the other from the same number asking me to call back.
I received a text (IssueNo.24y5enulz) We have faced some problems with your BOA account. Please call: 14256063663. The text came in at 11:07AM CST When I called the number it said my account was suspended due to su****ious activity. It asked me to enter my debit card number so they could verify the information. I do not have a BOA card, and I certainly would not ever enter my debit card info and supply it to some random caller. Beware....Why do people try to rip hard working stiffs off. Try doing so****ing honest for work instead of stealing.
(Credit Union ID.t9bx3bck) we have temporarily prevented access to your account for your security. please call: 425-606-3663" and its from: [email protected]. Definitely a scam!
This is a scam # claiming to be Bank of America. - if you call it it asks you to enter important banking info to unlock you debit card. DO NOT ACCEPT do not give CCV information.
My text says: [Acc No.10083 Locked!] You have an important security update on your account. Please call +1.425-606-3663 It's from: [email protected] I don't have business with BOA, and even if I did, they'd have more reasonable email addresses.
THERE A SCAM ASKING FOR PERSONAL INFO AS A CREDIT CARD UNION WHICH THERE NOT.
The text on my cell worried me since it could indicate a true warning linked to iden***y theft. However, these comments lead me to believe my first instinct...
Scam. Got a text from an obviously fake address with typos. Didn't call, checked my accounts - all ok.
I received a text telling me my account had been suspended. However the only "account" that knows my cell phone number is Verizon and clearly my cell phone still works...
Same story as the post below. My card has not been stolen however .
I had my credit card information stolen and used yes****ay, which thankfully my Credit Union caught and contacted me for. However, the next day I received a text from a random person "oboooalerts@sesidbofmricaaxvfkxikthon..." saying $144.99 was debitet from your card. Wasn't you? - call +1.425-606-3663" I am sure they are using the same stolen information that's probably posted out there on the Internet. It's scary that somehow my phone # is also tied to this information.
