Blocked but Comcast history shows them calling numerous times a day!
Calls constantly
I blocked (425)732-3247& it still show them trying to call after business hours 2/27/23 at 8:21PM. 3 times in the same min. then 3/1/23 at 7:48PM 3 times! and again this morning 3/2/23 at 7:48am. I call back, it says," You've reached Bloodwork's Northwest after hours line." yet they just called me. I've never even been to Bloodwork's. This is getting frustrating.
Blood donation
Trying to get you to use them for google ads.
I blocked them after receiving endless calls....day after day after day. Now my Comcast history shows repeated blocked calls, as many as 7 in the same minute, MANY times per day! That's a robocaller in it's most basic form. Non profit or not, they are ruthless and invasive. Block 'em!
This is so disappointing because I am a frequent donor. They stopped coming to my area and I told them to please keep me informed when they plan to return. But, they keep calling about out of area donations! If I was able, I would absolutely make the drive. I support this group 100%, but the calls need to be more thoughtful and less pushy. I finally, regretfully blocked them.
i haven’t answered at all but they call me like 3 times for like 4 days now
Signed up once for blood donation, 50 calls preceded it.
never donated blood before
I'm glad I found this site and confirmed this is blood donation related. I'm just going to block the number.
I just receieved two calls within a half hour of each other. maybe instead of calling they could be giving their own blood.
I keep on telling them I do not have time to give blood, which I have a rare type. They continue to call many times during the day. It gets downright annoying.
Cease these annoying calls. If anything the five or six calls a day encourage me to stop donating blood all together.
I will NEVER donate blood at PBSC again after receiving so many calls. I will continue to donate blood, but never again with them. The subcontracting and auto-dialing has gotten out of hand. This is not how you treat people that are doing good deeds, by invading their personal space.
I looked this number up and found out it belongs to the Puget Sound Blood centers. I just made an appointment with them last week for the 1st time. I suppose they have the 'right' to call as I am a current 'customer.' They called twice today but didn't leave a message.
Hang up calls daily.
I scheduled my blood donation when they called me from this number. I thanked him for reminding me it was time for me to donate blood.
I have received three calls from this number in the past three days yet no message is ever left and when I answered the phone no one said anything and hung up.
STOP CALLING MY NUMBER YOU ARE BLOCKED
6 calls in 4 days with no message left. I don't answer unidentified phone calls.
They have been calling me and never leave a message as to who/what they want. I called them today to request they remove me from their list of people to harrass and call relentlessly and they agreed to take me off their list. Time will tell.
The PSBC is out of control when it comes to their unsolicited calling. I live in Maryland, and haven't lived in WA in almost 4 years... and I'm STILL getting called, several times a day! Worst part is, 8:30 pm their time is 11:30pm my time, and I'm in bed sleeping. I've told them to stop, I've emailed the guy who posts here from PSBC to be taken off the list. It worked, for almost a year, but now I'm somehow back on the list and getting called again. I know it sounds kind of mean, but I wish I never gave blood there. I really don't want to call up a blood center to yell at some poor volunteer that's trying to do a good deed, but I don't know what else to do.
It's the Puget Sound Blood Center. They call practically every day. We usually try to ignore it, because the few times we do answer, there's nobody there!
Seriously? DO NOT CALL means....DO NOT CALL. Gosh, that's a no brainer. I run a non-profit as well and would NEVER solicit ANYTHING over the phone. MY phone, MY home, MY bills. We talk to people that approach us because we're out in the community. We don't sit in nice warm cozy offices dialing numbers. It's a sign of laziness/get rich quick method.
Who is calling me from this number? They never leave a message, but they call me daily. It's getting irritating.
I have donated and still will, but these calls should stop. They call several times a day and late evenings. It's very annoying. I have an unlisted number and still get these calls. I also get their E.Mails! Please STOP CALLING.
Yeah, sure, just send them an email. I've done that twice in the last year, and I'm still getting hounded by their calls. I don't care if they're a nonprofit, this practice stinks to high heaven. It's not uncommon for the calls to come after 8pm. Why? Do you people at the blood bank understand that you're actions are costing you donors? You must be working with a contracted service that has the computer and software to dial multiple numbers at a time. It also seems to have the ability to "ping", and detect when a specific number is in use. Very corporate and very aggressive tactics. PSBC has sunk to a new low.
Thank you to John Reagan for the Nov 19 post. I have called the number he listed and I hope the annoying calls (3 times a day since the beginning of 2009) will stop. I am battling cancer and the chemo is exhausing. As much as I would like to be able to donate blood, I cannot. I have an unlisted phone number and I would like to know how PSBC obtained my number. The blood shortage is severe and I understand that. But I think that PSBC is losing more in good will than it is gaining by these phone calls. It's time for a different plan.
My name is John Reagan and I work for Puget Sound Blood Center. I can help anyone get off our calling list or just change the way we contact you. You can call me at 425-462-4380 or email me at [email protected] and will take care of it right away. Puget Sound Blood Center is a non-profit organization so we don't access the National Do Not Call list. However, we do have a policy of honoring all Do Not Call requests so please do contact me so I can get it taken care of.Thanks for the blood donations - we really do need them, with or without a phone call involved.John ReaganManager, Donor Scheduling Program

I donated at Puget Sound Blood Center in 2007, and never thought anything about giving them my contact number, etc. Around the time of my next donation, they called, 5,6,7 times a day! It was ridiculous so I called back and asked them to stop calling, take my number off. They agreed. Now it's October 2008 and the calls are starting again! I haven't been back since last year. I go to Cascade now, they're much much nicer. I called and left a message telling them to cease and desist immediately and told them next step = attorney. I will call the WA State AG tomorrow. This is harassment, and especially after seeing these posts. I would suggest any of you who are having the same problem contact the WA State AG also. Enough!
It is from the Puget Sound Blood Bank. They never leave a message and call multiple times a day 7 days a week. I do donate to the blood bank but the calls have got to stop - it is annoying to say the least!
If I go more than 60 days without a donation they call until I answer and agree to donate or until I go in and donate on my own.
psbc. called to see if i wanted to make an appt to donate.
You are calling our fax machine and tie up my line sometimes for hours on the weekend. Please remove our number from your list (425) 334-3213.
Bonnie and blood doner, before you get all up in arms about people's complaints, sometimes we are harrassed. I used to give blood, but can't anymore because of medications I now take. I've told PSBC this many times, but they still call. Sometimes it's just frustrating. Believe me, I'd rather give a pint than have my disease.
I went to donate blood the other day, and the receptionist asked for my EMAIL addy. She said it "would cut down on the phone calls" ..........yet I have been called 5 times TODAY after being turned away.
Well..Puget Sound Blood Center would make sense to my wife and myself because we donate there on a regular basis but it makes me mad that they would call in this manner as it smacks of spamming!
