they just keep calling without leaving a message when the ma****e picks up, and when I do pick up there is no one there. I want these calls stopped.

They don't leave messages on answering ma****e. When I do pickup they don't say anything,just **** up.

I just received a call from this number.  I am on a "do not call list" so I don't know how he got my number.  He said his name was Allen Wray, he was looking for someone else but told me it was not a telemarking call it was in regard to personal business and then he left a direct toll free number the person could call him back on.  The person he was asking about does not live in my household, but that didn't stop him.

Asked me for the last 4 of my social. I ***g up.

I get multiple calls per day from this phone number , and no one is ever on the other end and no messages are ever left .I would like these calls to end .

Shortly afterward, we began receiving calls from people looking for someone named "James Lowe"  and claiming that "James Lowe" owed money to them.  The call which we received from 425-740-5400 WAS an automated call - which is an action which is illegal all by itself.  We explained to these people that we have NO idea who "James Lowe" is (or was!) We also informed them that our number is listed with  the DO NOT CALL Registry and that we ARE filing complaints about all of these unwanted calls. We ALSO asked them to stop calling.  In spite of our request, they have continued to call EVERY day for the past TWO months!  When we Googled the number used for the call, we discovered that the number belonged to:  Sentry Credit, Inc aka: "SCI",2809 Grand Ave.,  Everett, WA 98201  --  Alternate Phone: 425-257-9500, -Toll Free: 800-608-2581 -Office: 425-257-9500 -Fax: 425-257-9525

This is a scam! Don't punch 1 or 2 because it will add acharge to your cell phne bill!!!!!!!!

We get prank calls from this number almost daily. The number, 425-740-7400, with EVERETT WA shows up on our caller ID but no name.

Since November 2009 this company has been calling me asking for someone with the last name of "Burgess",they are calling my cell phone every week. I have called them back every time asking for this number to be taken from their list, they always say they will, they are always extremely rude and childish.

They have been calling me for about 2 years now.  Ma****e ask me to call them but cuts out before it finishes.  I am on the do not call list but I doubt that it means anything because my home and cell phone gets these types of calls constantly and I always report them.  But nothing ever happens when reported.Why do we have the do not call list a***n.  So we can vent only?

I also got this call, this is the second time. I usually get calls from Geogia phone number s****ing with 678 and so on. It has stopped for two months. I dont know how to block these numbers, Actually they are calling the cell. Since My cell phone number is very unique, that is reason why they are calling. One day it look like a real caller called and identified him as he is working for walmart. He told that I got a new LCD TV and 1000 dollars. I was bit sbocked, After he called me many times, he asked the credit card information for the shipping and handling chanrges. I gave my credit card number to him, somehow he has not charged my credit card so far. I hope he doesn't charge my credit card.Lots of bull s**t calls, Govt,. has to regulate thiese all ****s..

I get 3-4 calls from this number per week on my cell phone.  They never leave a message and the few times I have actually picked up, I get an automated response stating they have an important call for some guy I have never heard of.  I have had my cell phone number for 5+ years now, so it is not a new number.

When asked, they identified themselves as Client Services. They were trying to reach a person sharing my husband's name who "is around 70 years old". When I looked up Client Services on the internet, there were A LOT of complaints from folks who were being targeted who were in their 70's and 80's and they all indicated it was some sort of scam. I have reported them to the BBB.

This is nothing more then some type of scam. How do I know this ? Because I picked up one of these non contracted cellphones for $20.00 I had not even had the thing activated 24 hours and I s****ed with the daily phone call from this fool. I do have my number registered with the do not call registry and am going to report this number along with the other countless numbers that call my cellphone daily.I think what I will do is just toss my phone in the trash after I smash it of course and just pick up another throw away cellphone.I will say one thing, this is 100% total harassment and should be a***nst the law, but I'm sure they have all the legal angles figured out.Only one person has my number. How these ******S got my number in less then 24 hours amazes me.Whatever you do, do not answer the phone. I believe it's some type of scam.

There calling me now we screen all calls before we answer them. They never leave a message on the answeing ma****e. So I guess there a fraud or some other type of criminal element.

Been getting a call from this number continuously for 4 weeks. It is automated asking for a person with another name. The recording asks that I press 2 if I am not the person they are trying to reach, which I do, but the calls do not stop.

My son answered the phone and the caller asked for me by name. He asked who was calling and she gave him the name "Melody Stevens" and the number is 425-740-5400. Thanks to this website, I know this is a bill collector and has been harrasing us for a long time. Hey Melody, I too am going bankrupt in 2010, so stop calling and pretending you know me.

They won't say who they are, they always report that they've removed the name, although the person I'm dealing with doesn't seem to know the full name. We've had this number more than 23 years, so it is not the case of someone that used to use this number. They say that they don't have to tell me who they are.

same here since our economy went so terrible and put so many of us out of work either for a short time like me or longer like so many others. Seems the only ones who made out with all this is the collection agencies. Well i wont pay any of them and if and when i am able i will pay the original creditors.I say let them sue i cant believe a judge would take all our money for our mortgages to pay a credit card bill. that would be insane there are enough foreclosures already with out adding more. so i will continue to pay my mortgage and utilities and food before i hand it all over to one of these collection agencies. If this one is in the state of Washington why would they bother with me im clear across the country.

Reverse lookup shows Everett, WASame old story.  These rogue "toll free" / "private name" / "CCS" / ad nauseam callers are telephone *********s, stalkers, harrassers, criminals.  Are some of them actually bill collectors or insurance agents?  More likely they are Big Brother "psy-ops" trainees, would be my guess.  Because who else would commit such unconscionable, unscrupulous and criminal acts en masse?  Ordinary bill collectors are not such nice people either, but usually they are working on commission for companies that are actually owed money by the debtor they are calling, threatening, and harrassing at all hours of the day.So why would any ordinary bill collectors or insurance agents chronically make malicious prank calls on such an apparently organized and well-finaced basis, tag-teaming, ping-ponging, from state to state? They s****ed calling us around February of this year, originating from Florida and Texas, allegedly, falsely, looking for some non-existent "nicholas thomas," and posing as bill collectors.  After several weeks of multiple harrassing calls per day from various out-of-state numbers, we got on the internet and reported them on several different websites, including this one.  Then we called our phone company and had the "distinctive ring" and other features added to our phone service as a discount-package deal.The rogue calls in February stopped after about a month, possibly because we stopped answering "toll free" calls altogether.  Hard to tell?  But the calls s****ed a***n last week, this time from different states, s****ing with Washington State.  My best advice to anyone getting harrassed by these rogue calls is to turn all your telephone ringers off except for the main telephone phone that you most frequently use.  And never under any cir***stances answer a "toll free" / "private name" or any other phone call like that, which by default makes a distinctive ring on our phone, which is set to ring at it's lowest volume.  If they call back more than once a day, turn off the ringer on your main phone and allow legitimate callers to leave messages on your voicemail, until the rogue calls stop coming in.  Thus far, none of the rogue callers have left voicemail, I'm guessing because they know that that could be used as evidence a***nst them in a lawsuit.  Because you can save messages in voicemail that reside on your phone company's servers, proving who called, when they called, and what they said.Our selective call blocking service only blocks up to 15 numbers at a time, and these rogue callers appear to have literally ***dreds, or even thousands, of phone numbers for every area code in the US.  So if you block one number they be sure to call you back from another number, and another, and another, until you've hit the 15 selective block limit.We can only hope that the afterlife holds so****ing very nasty for these rogue pranksters.  Or maybe their bad karma will catch up with them sooner than that?And by all means, if you have the time, please report the rogue callers on every website that allows such reporting.  Some people advice reporting them through the FCC, State boards of collection agencies, writing letters to the rogue caller's company, and so forth.  But that sounds like it could be more trouble than it's worth.  Completely ignoring them makes much more sense to me,although I have been using our selective call blocking service to block area codes and prefixes of these rogue callers.  I've had to block five of them in the last month.  We'll see if they expand their attacks, or give it up.

Had this  number call, when I answered  it sounded like a ma****e powering down then disconnected.  Caller ID showed Everett WA,  I'm in VA.  So curious as to who or what it was
