I got a call from my wife at home today... it showed up as this number.  I ***g up and called home, and my wife answered.  I'm not sure how the caller ID got confused.I live in Waynesboro and have nTelos.  I work in C'ville, though.

Calls my job everyday. Never says anything.

I got a call from that number and they left a weird short voicemail that I didn't understand!who is it??

I also live in C'ville and have comcast. I think it must have so****ing to do with that service, there is just too many comments on this page referring to them.

My husband is in West ******ia,at Beckley FCI, which is a 304 area code. We have an account with a company called "conscallhome" which issues him a number local to him (304 area code) therefore alleviating long distance pay phone charges.  I live in ******ia in a 434 area code. When he would call it always was from a 304 area code, but lately this number shows up under caller id as the number that is calling. I called it back several times, the very first time I tried to call I received a generic answering ma****e message and was prompted to leave a message. Every time I call it back now though, it states the call cannot be completed. I still have no clue what is going on. Just thought I would add my .02 cents.

My boyfriend called me @ work from our home # but caller id was 434 422 9338. I have comcast too which by the way ****s. I've had their bundled service for 2 weeks and have had to make unrelentless calls every few days for either the phone or cable or internet...makes me sick.

My wife called me at work from our home phone and the caller id was 434-422-9338. This is NOT my home number. I recently switched my phone service to Comcast and this number began to show up in the caller id once in a while. I called Comcast and they have noidea why this is happening.

Called my cell at 6:22 p.m. Tuesday, September 02, 2008. Did'nt answer, didnt leave a message. Happens every now and then. Really s****ing to **** me off.

Called and ask for my bank account number saying it was in a public system and that it needed to be removed.  Identified himself as Tony Jefferson of the National Verification Office of ******ia.  I told him I would need to check it out on the web and there was no such Office.  In the meantime he ***g up.

Left voicemail to call a number (area code = 212) but never left his name. We did not call him back.

Rec'd a call at 6:51 am on 08/02/08.  I did not pick up and they did not leave a message

got a phone call from this number 07/29/08 at 5:37am! didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.

Received probably 5 calls from this number before noon on July 28.  Anybody have any idea who this is? Would love to report them.

Yep, I got a bogus call from this number as well.  What gives?

One of those numbers that calls and calls.  I never answer.

The caller identified himself as "Robin" a male subject and mispronounced my last name.
