got a text to cell with my name then another text asking me to add them to messenger. i wouldn't attempt to add, probably hackers.

Got a text from this # saying*****o [my name]. Tried responding back several times but got no answer. Interesting how others have also had the same story and reported it to be spam. Gotta love the web...

Just received a text from this number- they knew my first name and said Hola. WTH.

some lame sort of phishing scheme, knew my first name and my number and asked me to add them on yahoo messenger
