EA Web Designs charged my credit card for $11.89.

"EA may not be the guilty party here.  They may just have been selected by the actual criminal(s) for having items to purchase for small dollar amounts."Yes but you would think if it wasnt that they would answer the phone or return a call or two.  Sounds like a false storefront.  But who knows.

Just checked my statement- same deal....EA WEB DESIGNS 434-878-3659 CA US   charging 12.79.  I'm cancelling my card NOW!!!

I also was charged $11.89. I am canceling my card now.My statement read "EA WEBB DESIGNS 434-8783659 CA"

I was just charged $12.79 and have no idea where this came from. I'm canceling my card as I had someone steal $400 on this same card through ebay a few months back. What bad luck!

I was charged too ... seems too many of us have been "hit" for this to be a mistake ... I just spoke with Capital One (CO) Visa and they tell me this company is known by them and there is no problem with getting the charges reversed.  I tried to tell the CO lady that is was strange that so many of us here have had the same problem.  She would not give me details about the company, but****ured me that there would not be a problem with getting the 11.49 credited back to my account.Call me, Gary 480-539-4109, or email me at gfinnell2003@***.net if you have any questions concerning this company (EA WEB DESIGNS) if we have to...I will contact the FBI to look into the matter.  Just need support from you all, like names and phone numbers where the FBI can get in touch with you.  Let me know what you all want to do.Gary

I've never received a call from EA Designs/EA Templates, but I did just find a charge on my new credit card for $12.79 from them.  Obviously, that card is now canceled.  My bank said this is most likely random generated theft where this small charge is used to "test" the account.  Larger charges would come later.

I got an unauthorized billing on my credit card from EA Templates with the same number written on my statement:  434 878-3659.  I have never had any contact with this company.  Cancelled my card, of course.  I never even spoke with these people on the phone.  No idea where it came from.  Smells fishy when I see the same number here.

Thanks for posting Chad.  I was just courious as it happened RIGHT after we ordered pizza.Canceling now.

FYI: I'm in Austin, TX, in case this scam is due to a local store employee who is skimming credit card numbers. I was charged for $11.89 on Friday. I also got another charge from "ALS 800-604-3067" for $9.70 a day later. Someone has sold my CC# and the customers are making small charges to see if they're valid. Have your cards cancelled because they'll make big charges on them soon.

BTW Anyone use Pizza Hut maybe the day or so before this charge appeared?

Charged my visa 11.89 - I never did business with them - and could not get a call back.  Reported to Visa fraud detection.
