called on jan 3 middle of afternoon, no idea who this is. Annoying.

called this afternoon, about 2:30pm, no message left. i returned the call and got an automated message that said they were a market research firm, and if i wanted my name off the list to call another number. since i suspect a scam i didn't try the other number.

Same story as the rest. Called my cell phone Sunday 12/27/09 around 7:40 CST. No message left. Appears to be a number in Brodnax, VA.

just called me at 8pm on monday night - no idea who this is. Looks like I'm not the only one!

I got a call from the 434-878-9942 number as well but I've had no dealings with that company.  Although my husband has rented an Enterprise car, he has not given my cell number even as a contact number.  So they are getting annoying at this point.  I don't really appreciate using my cell minutes on some unknown caller!

I didn't rent a car from Enterprise and I got a call! so it can be just that!

Same as all of you. I never received calls from this number until I rented from Enterprise. They should not be able to give our numbers to any organization since we only give it to them because we need to. What ever happened to our privacy?

Call made to my cell phone with caller ID of "unknown." If you're "unknown" then don't bother calling.

I hate it when some company thinks that they can call me and not leave a *****en mesage.  It really ***ves me, what do they think that I don't have anything better to do than run and catch a lousy phone call???

I got a call from this number 10/22. I rented from Enterprise recently... if you call 1-800-864-8601 you can be put on their do not call list.  I'll have to see if that actually works, but Enterprise should be punished somehow for distributing my number out (gotta love the fine print).

Enterprise rent-a-car keeps their employees on the ball by having this independent survey company check to see if you're satisfied after every contract and rating the involved employees based on your response.  I'd not complain about this one too much, it's probably keeping their employees nice and freindly...

I called the Enterprise rental office about this number; agent said he knew that random calls were made by a 3rd party outfit in about 7 - 10 days after a contract closes.  He knew that they are often regretably made at unacceptable times and that if there is no answer, no message is left.  He could not confirm the name Merit or Merrit or any phone numbers.

Thanks for the heads up.  I was also in an accident and rented a car with Enterprise.  Can anyone tell me if the calls will go away?  I gave Enterprise, my insurance company and the my repair shop my cell number because its always with me but I will not answer a number I do not know from my cell even if I have roll over minutes I never use.

missed a call from this number on a Sunday afternoon, left no voice mail.  Previous reference to Enterprise is useful as I also rented from Enterprise last week resulting in an unsatisfactory (to me) customer service issue.

Just ask he person if they would like to have *** with you? And what do they like best?  They will leave you alone....especially of they are your same ***.

This is Merit Research.  Doing service surveying. Probably****ociated with Enterprise or so****ing with auto insurance claims.  I was just in a few car accidents recently and had to rent a car.

I rec'd a call from this number tonight and called it back and it says it is Merrit Research. They call people to get their opinions on products and services for their clients. That's all it is. Just a product research company.

W***ver is calling from this number is getting on my nerves...cuz their signal is weak every time and when I try calling back there is no answering service!
