They're still trying to pull the same scam as of today (12/03/2014) as they were back in April, as reported on another site. Upon answering the phone this automated prompt plays: "We are calling in reference to your current credit card account. There is nothing wrong with your account but we are calling to offer you the opportunity to lower your interest rates to as low as 6.9%. Your eligibility expires soon so consider this your last opportunity. Please press one to speak to a live operator. Press two to never have this opportunity a***n." I pressed one to find out more information - asked how they got my number and the guy on the other end, middle eastern accent, said "From your credit card account and past payments." I said it was a lie and before I could finish my sentence he ***g up. I blocked the number.

Automated call from this number about lower interest rate. I have no idea who this is or how can they get my number

Rude people didn't like it when I informed them I don't have any credit cards!

Said my credit card account was current, but deadline was almost up for me to get lower rate. Recorded call, female voice that said her name is Heather.

I also got an automated call telling me I was eligible for a credit card rate decrease. They also failed to note my credit card company name.

Got an automated call from this #, telling me they were from my credit card company ( no name given ) & that I was eligible for a rate decrease. If I pressed a number on my phone, I was supposed tone connected to a live operator. I ***g up.

I called back to see what they wanted. No answer. I was charged for this call.
