CallerID says Leukemia society along with several other numbers. When I answer ***ody is on the other end of the line

The Leukemia Society has called me 20x in the past 4 weeks. I've asked them to put me on their do not call list and they said it takes awhile. They call from at least 6 different numbers. It is ridiculous. The numbers they've used to call me are:775-319-1592702-553-0527435-294-1281208-991-1209866-323-5424801-618-2059How do you stop harrassment like this? You can't block numbers when they continue to use new ones. I'm sure they have a good cause, but I will never donate to them for this obtrusive behavior.

I keep getting calls from different number that caller id lists as leukemia society. when I answer, they **** up. and no one leaves a message.

This organization has been calling once or twice a day for 2 weeks from a variety of different area codes and phone numbers.  I called one number back, which gave me the option to be removed from their calling list.  The calls continued.  I picked up another and simply said, "please remove me from your calling list."  The calls continued.  On 2/27/10, I answered the call from this phone number.  The woman on the other end explained that she was calling from the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.  I interrupted her, explaining that we already donate to the American Cancer Society... before I had a chance to continue to explain that since we could only afford to donate to one cancer-related charity, we chose the ACS because of family members who had suffered from different types of cancer, and we wanted a charity that would support research for them all (including leukemia & lymphoma) the woman interrupted me saying, "Ma'am, this is the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society."  I replied, yes, I know that, but we support the American Cancer Society because... she then very rudely interrupted me a***n, "Ma'am, this is the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society" as though I were ******.  At this point, I ***g up.  The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society ought to be aware of the rudeness of this individual, as well as****ume responsibility for the amount of harrassing phone calls being made in their name.

I have received several calls from the Leukemia Society on my home phone; now they're calling on my cell number.  This has to STOP.  What can be done?

Someone keeps calling from this number. We do not answer it and they **** up when our recorder s****s. Does anyone know how to block these calls?

I am getting calls from these people numerous times a day.  I HAVE ALREADY DONATED ALL I CAN!!!Even though I usually donate to this charity, the inconsiderate repeated, repeated, repeated phone calls are making me angry.They come in the early morning; they come at dinner.  I may not donate a***n other than through my niece who runs marathons for leukemia/lymphoma treatment and research.

i'm tired of all these numbers on my caller id. i'm on the no caller list.  do you think this is just a good way for the telephpne co. to make money? we know they can tell where every call comes from and how long they talk .surely to GOD they don't think we all are dumb.

May 31 to June 3,09 - Calls every day from different numbers and places numbers have been from Salt Lake City UT is

All of a sudden we've been getting a rash of calls to our unlisted number from places like UT, NV and ID. They never leave messages and I picked up this morning and had to say*****o 3x (which means its one of those auto dialers). He asked if he was speaking to me and I asked who it was and he s****ed to go into a pitch and I told him to take me off the list now and ***g up.

7 calls - all from different phone #'s at various times of the day.

They just keep calling. All caller ID says is Ogden, UT I don't want them calling me.

Not sure who this is.

Claimed to be from the Luekemia society to thank me for my past donations. I asked them to take me off their list and she claimed they didnt call to ask for money but to verify my name and address. Was a bit weird.

This invidual called claiming to represent the Luekemia society. I tried to call back to tell them to put me on the do not call registry (which I am already on) but there was no answer. Fishy situation.
