When you register for surgeries, to be seen in the ER, to have lab work or x-rays- anything, you give contact information. Also anyone trying to contact you from the hospital calling on one of EMH's phones- this is the number that will show up. So it could have been a friend or relative trying to call.

I HAVE BEEN GETTING CALLS FROM MY CRAZY EX HUSBAND FROM THIS NUMBER AND WHEN I TRY TO CALL IT BACK IT SAYS THE NUMBER CAN'T BE IDENTIFIED.  I DON'T THINK IT'S BEEN EMH'S NUMBER FOR YEARS.  MY EX HAS DONE WEIRD STUFF WITH MY CELL PHONES IN THE PAST INCLUDING BUGGING IT AND CLONING IT.  i HAVE GONE THROUGH DOZENS OF NUMBERS TO TRY TO STOP HIM BUT HE ALWAYS FIGURES OUT A WAY TO MENACE VIA THE PHONE.  HE BUYS SOFTWARE ON THE INTERNET THAT ALLOWS HIM TO DO THAT.  I JUST TOOK A **** IN THE DARK AND ENTERED THE NUMBER INTO GOOGLE AND THIS POPPED UP.  I AM SHOCKED!  RESPOND TO THIS POST PLEASE AND GIVE ME ALL THE INFO YOU HAVE OR IF HE HAS CALLED YOU A***N.  I WOULDN'T GIVE ANYBODY CALLING FROM THAT NUMBER ANY INFO GIVEN THE FACT THAT I HAVE RECEIVED CALLS FROM MY ****** EX HUSBAND FROM IT.  AND I AM NOT JUST THROWING THAT WORD AROUND.  HE REALLY IS A ******PATH ACCORDING TO KECKLER AND HARE'S CHECKLIST.  HE COMES OFF CHARMING BUT HE IS DECEITFUL AND MANIPULATIVE.  FOR YOUR OWN PROTECTION...DON'T TELL HIM ANYTHING!

Got a call on my cell phone at 6:18pm from 4402848400 and didn't answer it. Got a call fom that number a***n at 6:55 pm and answered this time. It was a female saying she dialed wrong after I asked who it was. She never told me who it was. Why would EMH be doing this? I think they should be notified!

I recently have been at EMH for surgery but dont recall ever giving them my number yet Ive gotten a call from that number at least once a day for 2 weeks straight.

I use to live in Ohio near Elyria, but moved to Tenn. over a year and a 1/2 ago. Only within the last 2 weeks did I s**** receiving these calls, sometimes during the day, even been getting them at 1am or 2am. No one is there, no answering ma****e, no nothing. I do not owe them since I never went there.

Got 3 calls today to our cell phone from 440-284-8400 which we now understand is EMH in Elyria. Never gave them our cell phone and feel they are intruding on our privacy!  - Jim C. - 2-27-010

Got a call from this number about 8 AM Sa****ay morning.. didn't answer.. read the comments from the May 20th 2008 poster... I haven't been to that hospital or dealt with them in many years... they called my cell and very few people have the cell number

I got a call from this, today.  No message.  Since I do not live anywhere near Ohio, either it is a wrong number or a sales call.

I received calls past two days from this number. I called it back from a different phone using id block and got a message, "Thank you for calling EMH (Elyria Memorial Hospital) Healthcare System. The person you are calling is not available." I had a chance to leave a message.I was just in that hospital for surgery one week ago, so not so mysterious.Probably a follow-up call or more likely a performance or rating survey.
