unwanted call to a cell phone

I've received several calls the last week from  this number.  Caller I.D. reads '4 R Newspaper'.  Never leaves a message.  We only have the Plain Dealer here and being unemployed, I cannot afford a home delivery of this rag.

I received a call today from this number. This will make the umtenth time someone has called from this company. They are trying to sell the local paper Longvview (TX) News Journal. They s**** by asking "did you receive your complimentary newspaper this morning"  I always respond "no I never receive a complimentary newspaper from the Longview News Journal",, she replied "would you like to s**** receiving one",,,, I always reply " no I don't like the Longview News Journal, they have the very worse news and sports coverage and tend to be a liberal newspaper concerntrating on minority news" which I think minorities get way too much attention anyway. I have asked many times politely to remove my name because if you don't they generally put you on a re-call list and hence you get called a***n and a***n..For those of you who have never had the opportunity to get and read the Longview News Journal, please take my free advise DON'T you will be thoughly dissatisfied.....That is my 2 cents hope it helps

Got call from 440-885-2849, but no one said anything when I answered. I called the number back and a woman said that she was calling about a new deal for the Cleveland Plain Dealer Newspaper. I do not subscribe to the paper now or ever, but she kept offerring a trial subscription to the paper.

Called around 11 AM today. These people call on behalf of my hometown newspaper, in an attempt to get me to subscribe a***n. Our local paper is owned by Morris Communications LLC. If you have ever had a subscription to any of the newspapers owned by this company, or have the phone number of anyone who has, they will continue to call.

Got a call last night to be selling subscriptions to The Lebanon Democrat (Local Paper) TN  but they have an out of State Phone Number...So****ings wrong with this..

I just got a call from this number, newspaper doing a membership drive.  The area code is in Ohio, but I live in Washington State!  I asked them to take me off of their list.

Cleveland Plain Dealer? They called here too, thing is I am in Florida! Talking about expanding their coverage area, huh? Wonder if the have Florida coupons too?? Hmmm...LOL....I just never answer when they call.

I got a call from this company yes****ay. The call went to voice mail, they ***g on the line for 17 seconds without saying anything. Thank you very much. I am in the Cleveland area, so it may have been a telemarketing call for the Cleveland Plain Dealer.

Received a call from this number today, 12 May 09.  Have received a call from them in 2008; however, contractor for a newspaper or not, I DO NOT HAVE A BUSINESS RELATIONSHIP WITH THEM SPECIFICALLY!  In my opinion, they are violating the do-not call rules.  Is there so****ing that gives them the right to call if they are being paid by some newspaper agency, even though we don't have a DIRECT business relationship with THEM?  This needs to stop!!!

Caller calls several times per week. I have asked to be put on the "do not call list". Request has been ignored. I'm fed up!!!!!!!

repeated calls; finally called back to see why they are calling. some "steve" person asked me if i live in ohio. i asked a***n why they are calling. then he asked if i am in (some other state). i repeated my question. he ***g up on me.

I'm on the do not call list, but this # calls me every week mostly in the morning. I have a night job so I do not appreciate this wake up call. I have nothing to say to them and do not want to hear what they have to offer so I let the answering ma****e pick up but they always **** up.

I had 2 calls from this number with no message so I called them back.  A very polite young lady answered the phone and explained that they were calling from my local newspaper.  I told her I was on the Do Not Call list and she explained that if you had a current business relationship a company then they are allowed to call you.  She upgraded my newspaper delivery and I appreciated speaking to someone competent.  Just thought I would post this as they are a legitimate company with some well trained employees.

This number was on my caller id twice so I called them back and found out that they were calling for my local newspaper to upgrade my service.  I'm on the Do Not Call list but the girl that answered very politely explained to me that if you have a current business relationship with a company then they are allowed to call you.  She was very polite and after speaking with her I did upgrade my service.  Not too often that you find a respectable company like this when telemarketing is involved!

I kept having this number on my caller ID and they never left a message so I called back and it was a contracted service for marketing of my local newspaper. I asked them to take me off their call list and they said they would, so we'll see what happens

I called it and they are a reputiable newspaper telemarketing company. Decent person answered and explained the call. I even bough the paper from them.They're okay.

They called claiming to be from the Telegraph...I think it's somebody trying to get personal information...BEWARE!!!

sooooooooo annoying. stop calling me!!!!!! They call EVERY day, and I just don't answer, so they call like 5 times a day! You would think they would give up after a while.
