This caller wanted money for the Ohio Police Athletic League.  Wanted $25.  Said could not help.  Then asked for $15 - $10.  A***n said could not help.Apparently, the DO NOT CALL LIST does not apply to this organization because they are asking for funds for a "government agency".They don't like to hear the word "NO".

Called, left no message.

Got a call from 440-892-6755 today.  It was the Ohio Police Athletic League asking for money "to keep the kids off the streets."  I said, "I can't do it this year," and ***g up.  Thirty seconds later he called back and said, "You ***g up too fast...," and s****ed to blab a***n.  I said I had ***g up just when I wanted to and ***g up a***n.  I guess he finally got the mesage and didn't call back the third time.  Perhaps I should have reported him for telephone harassment.

Call was received from the above number within minutes of my ****ing up from another call - about 6:05 pm today, Tuesday 25 August 2009. I said*****o; the caller ***g up. Redialing the number that called, the voice mail said the mailbox for _________ (no name) was full. Didn't give a name of a person nor a company.

OH ST OF THEPer another poster: "In trying to track down this phone number I found it listed in the AT&T Yellow Pages under Government. The only listing I could find for the street location is "PENSACOLA." There doesn't appear to be a street named "Pensacola" in Westlake, OH, where the phone number comes back to. Further checking revealed several listings in the Business (White Pages) Section of the phone book all with the listing "STATE OF OH The" with the same phone number, (440-892-6755). However, below that listing is another listing by the exact same name, (i.e., "STATE OF OH The"), with an Olmstead Falls phone number, (440-235-4708), but the lising notes it's location as "PENSACOLA FL." Additionally, there is yet another listing, but this one says "STATE OF OHIO The"--NOT "STATE OF OH", which is the abbreviation for Ohio. It also gives a "Pensacola FL" location; however, it lists a Cleveland, OH phone number of 216-298-4413. Calling both the 440-892-6755 and 216-298-4413 numbers reveals that after ringing a few times it switches to a voice mail box. A recording is then heard stating that the mailbox is full, but it then goes to say that "...the mailbox belonging to..." at which point there is nothing more than a click, so you never get the name of the owner."

same caller.  asked for hubby said he wasn't here wouldn't leave message.  i hate those worst because he is phone phobic

Answered this call, man asked for me by my surname (Mrs. **X) and when I responded "speaking," he said thank you and ***g up.
