I just received a text from this person offering more money than what I am asking for on the item I've listed on CL. Careful now as he wants to pay through paypal. ScAMMER!!!

He has moved to paypal he scamming I sent him a rock and the tracking number which paypal asked for to make sure it wasn't a scam and a soon as I have the tracking number servers messed up and no payment was given and he will offer you more for your item and than say it's for a relative in Nigeria and than he will push you to send it the day of

agreed, most likely a scammer... made an attempt to dupe me out of an item i have listed on cragslist. Responded with the following generic email to my add: I am interested in buying your item, hit me back with your number so we can discuss on it After following up they offered more for my item than you could purchase it new. I pointed out that they could buy it new for less than the offered amount and it would be ***nd new so no worries about condition. They said they still wanted to buy my item if i would take a western union payment and ship the item.
