This is obviously a scam. “local cops” doesn’t sound like an official IRS phrase to me. In fact, I listened to the message multiple times because it’s hilariously terrible!

Pretends to be IRS reporting violations and if no response imminent arrest is coming.

Same recording that Jay mentioned above. Says I have "four serious allegations" a***nst me and I need to call them "to discuss about this case before taking legal action" a***nst me or I "will be taken under custody by the local cops". Thats a bunch of BS! I have no legal issues with the IRS or anyone else.

The usual recorded scam about arrest warrants and the threat of "being taken under custody by the local cops" which is kind of hilarious.

They keep calling to say there’s 4 warrants out for my arrest in an automated voice. Telling me to call ASAP and turn my self in. However I’ve never been to Maryland. I’ve lived in the same state my whole life and have never been in any trouble. They call multiple times at all hours. It’s ridiculous. And I’ve blocked the number and they still are able to leave voicemails

Says they'll have me arrested by "cops" if I don't reply and fix some issue with the IRS. I have no IRS issues. This is not how the federal agency contacts those who do. SPAM
