Leave a CommentI got the same exact thing he used the [email protected] but the phone number was 407-289-0797
I had the same experience. The number I got the text from was 702-847-0477. Same thing as list below. Geophysical investigator. Word for word what Anni wrote
Received a text from 702-847-0477 inquiring about a bike we had posted on Craigslist. He requested that we email him at [email protected] with last asking price and the present condition. I thought it sounded fishy right away and told my husband not to respond. Glad he didn't now that I see he is in fact a scammer.
[email protected] same as below but with a new email.
+1 (702) 847-0477 <- got the text from this number. "Hello , do you still have your listed 2013 Yamaha for sale ? if yes you can get back to me via my email ( [email protected] ) with your last asking price and the present condition.. Thanks Billy" I was super excited since my bike had only been listed for a hour. I email him with the requested info and got this email in response "Hi Anni, Thanks for the mail, I'm interested in your BIKE and I'm okay with the asking price, would love to go ahead with the deal right away because this meets my perfect search for time being now, I'm on duty now, so coming to your residence for inspection won't be possible, so you have to****ure me that its in condition described. You may now consider me a favorite buyer and if possible withdraw the posting from the site immediately so that I can be rest****ured that it is all mine. Like I said earlier, I'm very busy with my job, as I work as a geophysical investigator and am currently in the mountain until October 10th, so I will be paying you on line via my PayPal account which is attached to my bank account because it is the only form of payment that I have access to right now and also because of its good security nature. If you are interested in selling it please provide me with the following information: 1) Your full name 2) PayPal email address, 3) Address for pick up 4) Your personal mobile # Kindly get back to me with the required for us to proceed,You will not be responsible for the shipping as shipping agent will be coming over to your address for the pick up after I have made the payment and you have received the confirmation of Payment from PayPal. Do hope to read from you. Thanks Billy" From: [email protected] Total scam. I hope he falls down his supposed "mountain" and gets eaten by a bear.
