It sounds like a recording. Called and asked for "James" and when I said they had the wrong number, they said, "Well maybe you can help me . . . " and s****ed in on a sales pitch. I ***g up and blocked the number.

they called my cell phone and asked for my husband and when I asked who is calling they ***g up. I tried to call back and phone was busy.

Want to stop all this SPAM call madness on cell phone? Get Avast Mobile security (its free) go to their tools menu. Open call blocker, pick phone number from your call list. TADA no more calls from this number. You can use wild cards in list, so you can block fake international calls as well - like block 90000* I was tipped off about this software from a phone company support person.

Called my cell and I didn't answer as I didn't recognize the number. They left no message

It may even be a recording, it will ask for "James" or other name, as soon as you respond to say it's the wrong number they say "well, maybe you can help me..." And it goes on about some fundraising tactic... I ***g up.
