Leave a CommentCall me at least 10 times a day. There is never anyone there, and if they do leave a message, it is all air.
Keep receiving call every hour on the hour.
This number calls my cellphone and home phone continuously throughout the day. Normally they wont say anything at all when I answer and of course they won't leave a message. I did answer once and they asked for my husband and I said this is his wife, how can I help you and they wouldn't tell me anything, so now I dont bother answering. If I answer everytime they call, I would use up my cell minutes.
I am receiving 5-7 calls a day. Haven't answered because I know no one in the 443 area code. I am on cell do not list. How to get them to stop?
I'm posting here because I got a similar call and the 1800 number matched. The called ID is different though. So look out for this.
Same as everybody, it is a SCAM. I got many calls by now from different calling numbers, with different company names. All the same pattern "congratulation you won a trip..., but to claim your prize you got to meet them at their business place 216 Chelsea drive in Vaugh in Toronto suburbs. This is where they try to sell you time share using a lot of pressure. Finally if you can get out of their alive, to claim your prize you got to pay, tax here, fees there and so on. So your free vacation cost you more than if you have booked on Expedia. Report them, or have their phone number blocked won't be much of an help as they keep c****ing phone numbers. Up until now it was always a human who called and now it's a ma****e, they are getting better. There is a toll free phone buster hotline where you can report them it's managed by OPP. I don't remember the number. The only way to be left alone is to go at there meeting and knock some teeth out, that's what I'm gonna do next time they call me!
Maggie said that a family member or myself filled out a contest form last year to win a free trip to Las Vegas, Montego Bay or Cancun for 2 nights/3 days with air fare for you and your spouse. No obligation! They could only hold my prize for 24 hours. Told to call 800-268-3113 to claim prize.I'm gonna report them to the FCC!http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htmHave a nice day!
Got the same call just now. Didnt really pay much attention, no one every wins anything, its always a scam lol =D
Automated call stating I had entered a contest and won free air fare for 2 and free rental care anywhere in the U.S. but I had to call back in 24 hours to claim. I didn't enter a contest. Looked on another website for this number and it said more than likelly(97%) this was a scam attorney/collection call the other 3% was iden***y theft. Didn't call back and won't. Will add this number to a do not call list.
Some scam that says so****ing about a vacation.
The claim to be Weststar Advertising. The number was 1-443-550-7970. It is a recorded message and says I won a trip.
They claim to be Weststar Advertising. Recorded message saying I won a free trip.
calls and just air
How do I block this number on myself phone??? My cell phone carrier doesn't block numbers...
I just received a call stating I won 2 nights/3 days from a few select cities. They said I had to call within the next 24 hours and to claim my prize that I supposedly won via contest. I will be putting a call block on this phone number
They've called me twice now. verbatim as described above, though the first time they called I received the option of being put on a do not call list, the second time no such option was available.
They said that a family member or myself filled out a contest form last year!! to win a free trip to Las Vegas, Montego Bay or ? for 2 nights/3 days with air fare for you and your spouse. No obligation! But they could only hold my prize for 24 hours. Well they can keep on holding it.
Silent upon answer
This is a scam. They call from the number and you get nothing but silence. When you call back, they tell you that you won a free vacation. They are obviously aware of the state you are calling from, as the message was customized for my state.
