number has called 3 times never leaves message  id says baltimore md

i keep recieving calls from this number even though i keep telling them the person they are looking for does not live here. i also threatened to report them two nights ago and i just got another call from them today. what agency will take such a report? the fcc?

called for ex-boyfriend,who hasn't lived with me for over 2 years  when called back got busy signal

i also got a call and googled the number and ended up here. not really sure what it is and like many of the other posts i dont answer calls i dont know. i recentley saw a do***entary on inmates getting peoples phone numbers and using them to make jail calls.be careful and dont answer numbers you dont know. if it is a legit call they will leave a message, this number never does.

They call once a day, and the computer voice replies goodbye. How do we stop it? The local ohone company won't do anything.

Yes, they are ARS.  I don't owe any debts in collections...they apparently have been calling for "Tina" or at least that the message I FINALLY got.  I googled them and found this: http://www.chargeoff.net/associated.htm  They are listed all over as fake, or unethical company based out of Escondido, CA but have offices all over.  The 443-701-4637 number is based in Maryland.  Don't talk with these folks and report them to your local Attorney General and block their calls if you can.  They also call from 800-440-6613

Got called from this number. Left message on ma****e asking for person not living here to call them back.

William Collector (aka Bill) calling from ARS. Possibly one of the world's slimiest collection agencies. They are relentless, but eventually they will stop calling and sell your debt to someone else and then a whole new set of calls will begin. Like everyone else says, DON'T answer the phone. Most likely the reason the number rings busy when you call back is that the number doesn't exist, they use s****ing technology to show a bogus number on your caller ID, hoping you'll be curious enough to answer.

This is from a collection agency, ARS..they call from different area codes and I have tried to call back several and in return all I get is a busy signal. Best advice is if you dont know the number, dont answer it.

I've gotten a call form this number asking for a person I actually know. The voice on the phone said it was an important call for that person and that it was not a sales call. The only difference from the above individuals is that I know the person they were asking for.

Just like the caller "From LA" above, I had the same experience.  I call back and all I get is a busy signal.  My advice to anyone getting calls from this number is to not answer.

DO NOT ANSWER CALLS FROM 443-701-4637!!!  Who knows what they want, but the fact they keep calling people and ****ing up does not evidence anything innocent or wholesome.

I was told by a friend this could some how be related to an iden***y theft scam. I am not sure how that would work, but my advice to everyone is to not answer and if you have call barring/call block with your phone service, block this number!  I unfortunately do not have that option so my cell gets called daily.  I suppose I can get a voodoo curse put upon who is ever calling...

I don't answer numbers I don't know, but this number has been calling me non stop.   Sometimes they call like 3 or 4 times in a row.

They call and computer asks for unknown person.  It says if this is the wrong number to contact press 3 to stop further calls.  I have but still get 2 or more a day for weeks.  No way to get a live person.

I got this call three times in past two days, I didn't answer it because I don't recognize the number. Who is this?

Same story as the rest of the comments on here.  I keep getting calls from this number, I don't answer calls I don't recognize, and they NEVER leave a message.  I did a reverse phone number look up only to find it is a landline in Arbutus, Maryland.  Never heard of the place.  So, I tried calling that number on my work phone so they can't see who's calling because my work number won't show up on caller ID.  It didn't ring, it just gave a busy signal.  I believe this number is to a scam operation that doesn't receive incoming calls.  My advice, don't answer and block the call if you can.

I just received a phone call from this number and received the same computer voice yell goodbye....it's kind of creepy! I answer all calls at work, but never on my cell phone and it was when I was at work that I received this call. Our called ID showed it was a call from Maryland.

Yes I just received a call from this number. of course I didn't answer because I don't answer calls I don't know. I then tried to redial the number and got a fast busy......

I got a call from this # on my cell phone today.  I answered it "Hello?" and a computer voice responded "Goodbye" and it ***g up.

We've been getting these calls on and off for some time. I don't have a clue where it's from as I refuse to pick up on calls I don't know. Anyone else get calls from this number?
