I got the same craigslist mail as the other person who wrote them up and I also had the sense to realize it wasn't looking right.  I just wrote and told them I already had sold my item since I got their previous e-mail.  I didn't receive a call from them, but an e-mail with this phone number and since they are obviously some kind of scam artists, I didn't call it.

The Message below is an email I had recieved from a "interested buyer" on one of my craigslist items. THIS PERSON IS A SCAM ARTIST.. PLEASE DONT RESPOND TO THIS PERSON. Or PUT "THEM" in their place.. The following is what they wrote to me. Email came from:  [email protected] so much for the swift response..Like i said am totallysatisfied with the item..Wish i could talk to u on phone but am a deaf and only uses a hearing-in paired phone the relay so  please sendme a email if i can  trust in you to handle this with  care or leave amessage on my voice mail "443-841-8344" it will be delivered as anemail  to me as well,my Bank will be processing and mail a certifieddraft to cover the cost of my purchase as am completely satisfied withthe advert.I will need the details of whom & where to mail thedraf**** will be delivered by the United Parcel Service within 3-4days.Please note 'United Parcel Service' do not deliver to P.O.Boxaddresses1.Name to be on the check2.Home address3.TelephoneKindly delete the posting as am totally committed to buying from youto save me cost,my mover will be coming over for the pick up rightonly after the payment as been delivered,regards.

I received an e-mail:Good day, how was your day ? I just receive the confirmation from the Bank,the check as been issued out and was mailed by the United Parcel Service  it will be delivered to your address a day from now according to the courier ,but to my greatest surprise the draft was made out for $2800 instead of the actual cost .It was claimed at the Bank that i  requested for such but am very sure i only made a request for the cost of the goods.This is a terrible mistake and i was just informed about this.When and once the check is delivered to you please take it to you bank and have it cashed,you will deduct your money plus an extra $100 to offset the cost of you run around expenses,the rest of the fund should be sent to my pick up man via western union the same day so that he can come over for the pick asap.I would have actually love to give you a call immediately i was informed about this but am a deaf and only uses a hearing-in paired phone the relay so  please send me a email if i can  trust in you to handle this with  care or leave a message on my voice mail "443-841-8344" it will be delivered as an email  to me as well,thank you.
