CALLING STATING THAT I OWE A PAYDAY LOAN. IN WHICH I DONT.. THEY HAD MY BANK ACCOUNT IN WHICH IS NOW CLOSED...

I almost got taken in by this scam.  People are being taken for a lot of money by this scam because of the scare tactics they are using.  This is CRAZY!!!!!

I got a call from this guy named John Smith with an indian accent saying that there is a law suite a***nst me. Wouldnt give any other info, like the company or address.  Saying my lawyer should contact him.

Caller asked for $700 for bogus payday loan debt, threatened arrest if I did not return the call. I was advise I had to appear in a California court to answer the complaint.

Called me told me I owe them money pay day loan witch I did not do .Stop or I will sue.

Broadview Communications is who the online reverse phone search lead to. They are based in Denton, TX. #1...it's illegal to call a cell phone to make a sales call! #2...My outgoing message clearly states that if I don't answer, I don't recognize the number. LEAVE A MESSAGE AND IDENTIFY YOUR SELF. #3...DO NOT WAKE MY WIFE AND I AT 5:36 AM! I will be calling them with a very serious offer...cease and desist...or we will cross swords in court! They call several times a day, several times leaving inaudible messages(having a very heavy Indian accent doesn't help), and now this. If I need an alarm clock, I HAVE 4!!!
