i GET THIS ALL THE TIME LATELY SAYING THAT I AM IN HUGE LEGAL TROUBLE WHICH I KNOW IS FALSE....WHEN I TRY TO CALL BACK THEY DONT ANSWER

I have received numerous calls from this number; no message; when I try to call back, the phone disconnects and will not complete the call.  This is very annoying.

Received a message at work from Mark White, says its a legal matter......

We've been getting calls from this guy for awhile now. Last one was this morning. He says it's a legal issue and wants to bring my husband to court. I told him that that's fine and go ahead and bring my husband to court, but bring my husband to OUR local county/state court. I laughed, cussed him out, told him that I'm not as ****** as he thinks I am and aware that what he's doing is a scam. I told him to go ahead and bring my husband to court, but MY county court. We'll see how legit he is NOW. I told him F*** YOU! F*** YOU AND YOUR ****** FAKE COMPANY! and ***g up. And this was there was many times I threatened HIM to bring my husband to court. And up to this day, he hasn't. He's a scammer! I expect more phone calls, but that's okay, it's amusing.

Who is using this number?

they are calling me as well. When i ask for them to fax me or mail me he information they tell me after they have verified all of my information. They leave voice messages telling me im going to jail and god bless and the cops are coming for me.

what if anything are you doing to report them..... i saw a report on this and it states to report to the AG office and FBI..etc..... it seems to be an operation or a major sting of them... their reports and phone numbers are all over the internet...even a news story on ABC news... the number they gave me..when i called back i get a cell phone with a different number ---- located in california.... why cant these people be ***ted down ...i have their number....we can and will get these people arrested and caught.... we all need to report

It's a scam...these people buy your records off of creditors, then they call using an American name (the last guy who called me said he was "David Brown") but the person has a horribly thick Indian accent, and they threaten legal action, which, if you know the Fair Credit laws, NO CREDITOR can do.  it's just a scam to try and get you to pay - ignore it. In fact, what I just did was laugh LOUDLY at the guy, and explain to him EXACTLY what he was doing...and then said "go ahead and try and sue me - we both know you can't"...he just ***g up with no argument. The guy prior to that however, decided to tell me he was going to "f*** my mother" and all sorts of other fun things.

more info...he will stutter.... say hes tony williams (yet he has an indian mideastern accent).... he will tell you your last four digits of your social security number and tell you hes calling you from ACS...then stutter saying what that stands for...i have yet to call him back and laugh at him...he has called me at work and my references (which was MY number, HAHA).

good luck with him..... hes a scammer tyring to threaten you for money... you must hve takenout a payday loan..he has you on some list..... if i were you id advise you to laugh in his face tell him you know its a scam and that hes been reported...his different numbers that he uses is all over the internt... be aware he will call your job and your references... hes pathetic..just be tough and scare him so he stopps calling you ( for a few months ...
